Gemini never fail when designing a fab product
Love, love, love my hot-foiling. Easy to follow instructions and does exactly what it is designed for. Gemini never let their crafters down. Would highly recommend.

A bit
Needs a bit of practice but mostly makes good, clear foil stamps. Can be a bit temperamental when putting the platform in to heat up, I have needed to really push the platform in and ‘jiggle’ it around to make a good connection. Possibly a bit of a design flaw?

A foolproof foilpress
I bought a different hot foil machine, and had many frustrating hours trying to achieve something that I would be happy to use, without success. When I saw the Crafters Companion foil press I could see that potentially it was foolproof, with a matrix giving heat times for different materials to be foiled, and an indicator light to take the guesswork away. I felt very guilty about buying again, but I’m so glad I did! The first time I used it I peeled back a perfect impression! I’m not sure why, but black foil doesn’t work very well; perhaps I need to experiment a bit more. I’m absolutely delighted with the Crafters Companion foilpress and only wish it had been available when I was first looking to buy.

Do not buy over heated on second time using it , Amazon great replaced it.
Utter waste of money always over foiling no matter how low you put the timer, glue leaked from the soft purple mat platform warped and then split. So after spending just under £200 pounds on machine extender prop plate a4 platform and new small platform. Total failure of the machine.they have a MAJOR problem with the heating element. AMAZON TO THE RESCUE NEXT DAY DELIVERY BIG SHOT ELECTRIC CUTTING MACHINE AND THE GLIMMER FOIL MACHINE. WORKS A DREAM.

Great machine
Great machine, i use with big gemini and extender plate, just keep a good grip as you feed it through and it goes through no problem. Recommend getting metal shim plates aswell to protect plate when cutting.

The product I bought is defective
The system arrived and had a European plug/cord. I ordered an an electrical cord for the Gemini that is compatible with outlets in the US from Amazon. I just began using the product and it does not work. It turns on but does not heat up.

AU buyers (please read) - Love it!
Global version arrived with UK and US power cords, but for AU customers all you have to do it buy a 3 pin AU power cord (under $AU10) and it fits and works like a charm as it is the same voltage as the UK cord included. So no need to buy a UK or US converter for the same price! I can see a lot of shiny things in my future! Love it!
