I really love this product, and after almost 2 years decided to buy a second one. Because the "rug" is so soft and flexible, I use it to cover a large footstool in my living room, not only because it looks great but because it protects my footstool, which has become a lounging bed for my dogs. The light rubber backing helps to keep it in place on the footstool, better than a throw or blanket.After 2 years, the backing on the first one started to wear out. I wash it a lot, on gentle, in my washing machine and hang it outside to dry. So now that one is actually on floor and still looks great as a rug and the dogs still get to lay on it. Great product, easy to clean, I would recommend this product.

Buy it!!!It arrived earlier than estimated which is always a nice surprise. The branding of the packaging is so cute, all the way down to the personal note they leave. The rug design is very realistic and so incredibly soft. This is BETTER than a real cowhide because they are usually a little itchy to sit on. My boyfriend was so hesitant to let me buy him a faux cowhide but he even admitted, this is the best bang for your buck.

Absolutely adore my new rug! It’s super soft and looks EXACTLY like the picture. I’ve had my mind set on a certain loon for my new house and this is the rug I’ve dreamed of. It’s going to make the perfect conversation piece once my living room is put together. I think the only two cons I could list is that it’s not exactly as long as in the picture (4x6 feet but more like 4x5 feet). Which is just me nitpicking but putting it out there if anyone needs specific size for whatever reason. The second con being that it’s very thin so don’t expect a super thick/plush rug like I’ve seen on other faux hides. But besides those very small things- this is the perfect rug for any room in your house. I will post photos when my house is more put together and not so pitiful.

The media could not be loaded. This rug is exactly what we were looking for - soft, nice heavy drape weight and easy to clean. Affordable + perfect for a kids room. (Took off one star for packaging, as the product came with many severe indentations, but we hope they will relax in time and I’d still recommend. :) FYI - It doesn’t look like a real hide - so if that’s what you want look elsewhere. But if you want a “look” in a room with some softness…this is great.

We LOVE this rug. It was a pleasant surprise to see that it was from a small business with an adorable thank you note inside. We have 2 dogs and cats and all it takes is a good shake and the hair and dirt comes off. I don’t need to use some deshedding tool because the hair doesn’t stick! But it is nice that I have the option to throw it in the wash on a gentle cycle to get it really clean. Perfect size for our space and the bottom being a rubber material is perfect for our vinyl floors.

I grew up on a cattle/horse ranch and have had real hydes in the past. They are heavy and time-consuming to properly care for. This one is a very nice, realistic synthetic, which I prefer these days, but good ones aren't so easy to come by. When you unpackage it, there will be fold creases, and there are often in real ones that have been folded. They did a good job by putting the main fold down the center, which is realistic in a true hyde. Just put it on the floor and let it smooth out. I would spot clean it, and vigorously shake it out as I would with a real one. I would hate to see it loose its realistic appeal by washing it!! I hope this helps whomever else buys one of these. The pattern was just like in the picture.

It looks great. However, it’s very light and moves around/folds up every time someone steps on it. I wish it would stay flat because I have to straighten it out multiple times in the day. I’m not sure if it would be better on wood/tile flooring (my living room is carpeted). It’s super soft and I love the way it looks, it’s just not very functional.

I love this rug although I am using it as a throw on my couch because we loved how soft it is that we just couldn’t bare to place it on the floor. It’s beautiful and looks really high end.
