SS SHOVAN 3 PCS PTFE Teflon Sheets for Heat Press Transfers Sheet 16" x 16" Non Stick Reusable Heat Resistant Craft Baking Mat

I've had these for a couple of months now and have used one a few times. I do a wide variety of sewing from crafts to quilting to garments. I have found this product to be particularly useful when using "iron on" products such as fusible interfacing or patches. I place this product under or over the item I am ironing and any sticky adhesive that spills past the fabric stays off of my iron and my ironing board. Once cooled a bit, all of the mess just brushes off of these sheets. This product is not as flexible as using a cotton pressing cloth, but that generally is not a problem as most of what I'm pressing is flat. Each sheet is reusable and will last a very, very long time.

Be careful of thin edges! Got a "paper" cut when I first unrolled them. Have not used yet. I bought these to use with decoupage, so I can set a piece down with wet Mod Podge on it and not have it stick. I will amend review after I try it.OK, I tried it. By far the best work surface I have ever used for this type of "sticky" craft. The Podge wipes right off with very little rubbing.Update 17 September 2021: These are still the best surface I have ever used for messy crafts. Protects my art and my desk and very easy to clean.

I use it for my heat press

These sheets have many uses in my art work. They are perfect for anything that you don't want to stick while cooling or drying. They are great for working with hot glue-- creating stencils and 3-D designs. The cooled glue lifts right off. There are many uses with Encaustic wax. Also works well with paints and inks: Spray with water and lift excess paint off of surface. I also used this with isomalt to create drips and spills and allow pieces to cool. I'm sure there are other uses that I haven't thought of yet.The slightly textured surface of these is the only difference I've found between these and the more expensive craft sheets.

I have grill mats so I was curious as to how I would use these. I decided to used them for baking. They seems to work well and I don't have to worry about them getting burned or too hot because baking does not require extreme temperatures. There can three in the pack and they seem to be similar to my grill mats in Terms of quality. I think I will try to use them to iron my delicates and see what happens.

Do NOT pay $15-20 on a specified “craft mat”. You are paying for the NAME (ie: Ranger & Tim Holtz) and nothing more. These are the same, yet you get 3 at 1/3 of the price. Unlike some Teflon sheets, these can take hi-temp glue and HTV application with an iron. They also allow you to mix paint, lay ink, etc while working and to clean up easily as you go with a baby wipe or when you’re finished crafting under a sink.Unlike the other craft mats, I do not spend as much time maintaining these mats since they are so cheap, but I could ;)From now on, every chance I have an extra $7 (through gift cards or to meet $25 cart for add-on) , these are my go to purchase!

I use these with my heat press and they’re awesome! I’ve been using the same sheet for the past few months with nearly daily use and I’m still on my first sheet :)

Catches grease stains easily. But easy to clean, good thickness. Good results for macarons.
