Built well and it’s removable
Simple instructions, installation went smooth, and it is a sturdy setup. I can trim the length of bars down in order to reduce the width if I want to. What I really like is that the racks are removable and the mounts will stay in place. I was looking for that type of rack, and here it is. Buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

Poorly over designed, dissapointing plastic bits, and to expensive.
I ordered this rack to replace what was a "TracRac" rack system. (a simple, affordable, and awesome rack; now apparently owned by Thule?) I usually trust Thule for their ingenuity and quality, unfortunately, upon receiving this rack, I was completely turned off by the complexity of the installation and the numerous plastic parts which connect it to my vehicle's canopy. Why do I need all this plastic to bolt a bar of aluminum to my car? Who knows. At any-rate, I returned this thing too disgusted with Thule's planned obsolescence and corporate greed. Thule, you lost a customer.

Good product, horrible customer service.
Bolts are too short for my canopy. Customer service is horrible. Buy a Yakima instead, at least the Yakima install instructions are helpful . It answers all the questions that Thule customer service can not.
