JHS Pedals JHS Mini Foot Fuzz V2 Fuzz Guitar Effects Pedal

This is a multi-functional box that can be used in several different ways. My main use case for this pedal will be to simultaneously use the XLR and 1/4 outputs, to go to a board/interface and amp. It is important to note that it is quite easy to get bad sounds out of it. You have to dial it in based on how you're using it and what you want out of it. At low gain this is a very open and uncompressed sound. As gain is increased it starts to compress and eventually enters into signal destruction land which can be a really fun sound. The EQ controls can cut or boost.When I first plugged in this pedal, I read the manual and noticed that you get the most headroom and least noise when you use XLR in and out. I used an unbalanced-1/4 to male XLR from my guitar to the Colour Box and ran XLR out into my recording interface. I wanted to see if it could really get that Helter Skelter direct-to-console distortion. I immediately found it, which was really cool, but I but soon realized how difficult it is to make adjustments. You have to pay lots of attention to the overall output level coming out of it or else it can overload the signal going downstream. Also the high pass filter really helps when you're using it as a direct box, or else things can get really boomy and overly bassy.

I got this to run on a little mini board next to my Helix. It has exceeded my expectations and I absolutely love this thing. This with the red remote and a Wampler Tumnus are my entire drive section and it covers everything I need beautifully. It really is as versatile as everyone says it is. It sits awesome in the mix with a fairly flat eq but adding some brightness. It’s also really touch sensitive and feels really good to play. With the flick of a switch you have an awesome fuzz pedal. I kick the Tumnus in when I need a little mid boost to move forward in the mix. They are a match made in heaven.

I originally picked this up to experiment using this as a "direct" channel for recording electric. However, in a pinch i used it as a pre-amp for my acoustic, feeding the output into a (previously unused KRK V8). WOW! The result is amazing. Yes, it' does a great job direct tracking of electrics with DAWs, faithfully and easily producing those iconic tones. But for me, where it REALLY shines is as a pre-amp (paired with one or more powered monitors) for performing on acoustic. Thanks, JHS!

Pulled my OCD of and put this one one and haven't looked back. Does everything you could possibly need and some. Get the red remote switch and thank me later.

This little pedal unleashes a big punch at the kick of a switch. The +\- switch makes this thing pretty fun and versatile. The only thing keeping me from a five star is that the power adaptor jack arrived either slightly damaged, or misaligned inside. The inside of the hole seems to be crimped in or something, making it difficult/impossible to get the adaptor in all the way until I went at it a little bit with a small screwdriver.

My husband loves this pedal.

This has become one of my favorite drive pedals of all time. VERY versatile, responds well to a variety of input levels, and the switch settings allow for some real sonic diversity. It's a real swiss army knife kind of drive.

Doch das JHS Mini Foot Fuzz V2 hat mir soeben den Schuh vom Fuß gehauen - im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes! Dieses winzige Pedal steckt voller fuzziger Magie und hat mich von Anfang an in seinen Bann gezogen!Als ich das Paket öffnete und dieses winzige Wunder erblickte, dachte ich zuerst, Amazon hätte mir einen Scherzartikel geschickt. Aber weit gefehlt! Nachdem ich es vorsichtig mit meinen übergroßen Rockstar-Händen angeschlossen hatte, wurde mir sofort klar, dass das Mini Foot Fuzz V2 keineswegs ein Spielzeug ist.Sobald ich die Saiten anschlug, war es, als ob ein wütender Donner durch mein Wohnzimmer fegte! Mein Hund versteckte sich unter der Couch, meine Nachbarn klopften besorgt an die Wand, und ich selbst fand mich ungewollt in einem spontanen Luftgitarren-Solo wieder. Dieses kleine Biest hat definitiv Power!Was mich wirklich überraschte, war die Vielseitigkeit des Pedals. Ob ich nach einem klassischen Vintage-Fuzz à la Hendrix oder einem modernen und satten Sound à la Jack White suchte - das Mini Foot Fuzz V2 lieferte stets den perfekten Biss! Die Klangregelung ist so intuitiv, dass sogar meine Großmutter es schaffen könnte, den Sound nach ihren Wünschen anzupassen (wenn sie sich denn trauen würde, das Pedal zu berühren).Aber Moment mal, ich muss hier auch den Unterhaltungswert erwähnen! Dieses Pedal hat definitiv Humor. Als ich es einschaltete, fühlte ich mich, als hätte ich meinen eigenen Stand-up-Comedian am Boden meines Pedalboards. Es sprüht vor Charakter und lässt mich bei jedem Einsatz schmunzeln. Ein Fuzz-Pedal, das gute Laune macht? Daumen hoch!Auch die Verarbeitung ist top! Ich habe das Pedal bereits auf einer wilden Bühnenfahrt mitgenommen, und trotzdem sieht es immer noch aus wie neu. Scheinbar steckt in diesem Ding die Langlebigkeit eines Cockroaches - und das meine ich im positivsten Sinne!Abschließend kann ich sagen, dass das JHS Mini Foot Fuzz V2 meine fuzzige Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen hat. Es ist klein, es ist laut, und es ist verdammt unterhaltsam! Wenn du nach einem Fuzz-Pedal suchst, das dich nicht nur klanglich begeistert, sondern auch zum Lächeln bringt, dann ist dieses Pedal die absolut richtige Wahl.Also, worauf wartest du noch? This is a real quality piece. If you consider only one fuzz, this should be considered. Very versatile sound. No noise with either my old Marshall, nor with digital soundcard.

So I’m not a massive fuzz fan that said I’ve used this today with my Strat and my Marshall the tone of the the pedal is sweet, using the mid range of the volume and fuzz you’ll get that perfect sound even with some valve dirt it sounds amazing . Roll off the volume and that’s when the magic happens ! Perfect Harmonix it sings . Probably one of the best pedals I’ve bought for a while . Of course it’s a tad noisy but my decimator takes care of that ! Great product, for such a small footprint a very big sound .
