It's ridiculous how expensive some gooseneck kettles are! Honestly, this thing boils water (although it's quite loud), has an approximately effective thermometer (I like drinking warm water and find the intermediate temps fairly accurate), lets me make great pourover coffee, AND also lets me check the quality of my water filter...It boils water so well that unfiltered water will leave mineral depostis on the bottom. This lets me know when to change my filters. Boil again in filtered water? Deposits come off. Great extra feature.I've noticed that one of the rubber stops will leak a small amount of water. It's just a few drops the counter won't flood and I don't fear electrocution. Just a fair heads up on that one.

I’ve had this kettle for 2 years now and it’s my favorite kitchen appliance. It’s so fast and reliable. I use it roughly over a day.The thermometer makes it possible to heat the water to 180F for green tea. The gooseneck is great for pour over coffee where precision is key.It heats so quickly that I often will heat up water (in 2 batches) for pasta and pour it into the pot on the stove and save myself 15 minutes of stove time.

** UPDATE Mar 2021 **Seems like there are few faulty (or returned) models of the kettle in circulation. Original kettle which I received had rust problem which I later swapped for another one. Surprisingly new model does have a stainless steel nut which is not prone to rust.** First review **Saw few previous customers complaint about the nut inside the lid to be rusting. I went ahead asked few other customer and everyone responded with they did not have rusting problem. To my surprise when I received the kettle the exact nut have already rusted. Check the attached image. Other than that I found this kettle to be well made and free of any inside plastic which is what I'm looking for long time. What I like about this kettle is the thermometer on the lid and the way it is designed doesn't introduce any plastic parts to the kettle which is the case for many kettle with thermometer. I like the handle too as it is attached to whole body of the kettle (screwed from inside without any plastic part) which gives great control while holding it. Also, there is plastic protector for protecting your finger touching the hot kettle body. This kettle could have got 5 starts if manufacture fixes the rusting problem.

I bought this over a Lighting deal. So it is one of the most inexpensive electric kettles that are available. This is replacing the Bodum that had leakage issues right from the beggining, but since I like Bodum, I stock with it.I am very happy with this Kettle. It is very fast, but a lot more noisy than the Bodum. The added thermometer is a value added feature that I did not have on the Bodum. It is also bigger and holds more water than the bodum.It looks good and I am very pleased with the purchase; I am wary of the rusting issues from other reviews, but so far, I don't have that yet. I will keep an eye and if I see any rust. Should be an easy thing to avoid and fix.For now, it is a pretty solid 4 star given the price. Will come back with an update after a few months of use.3 week update:After three weeks of daily use. Guess what? No rust and absolutely no issues with finishing as some reviews give it a 1 star. Fake reviews?The finishing is outstanding; there are no abrasive or sharp finishes anywhere; so, would be very hard to cut your finger on this. The only issue that I still miss from the Bodum, is the loudness. It is a loud but fast kettle.

I have only been using this kettle for about a week now but so far so good! For those who may be wondering, I believe Comfee is an Italian brand but the unit itself I think is made in China (but what isn't these days?). I love the fact that the inside of of the kettle is all stainless steel (including the lid) so there is absolutely no plastic coming into contact with the water. I've come to the personal conclusion that boiling water in plastic (even if it is BPA free) is very bad and so the stainless steel inside was what drew me to this particular kettle. The only down side is that this means there are no fill lines visible on the outside of the kettle or window to see the water level. Instead the lines are only visible from the inside which can be hard to see sometimes. For me its worth the trade off though just to not have plastic! The kettle itself feels well made and I have had no issues boiling water in it multiple times a day. My wife and I use it for tea and I use it to make my pour over coffee in the mornings. The built in thermometer is also a cool feature! All in all...I highly recommend!

I have a 1 liter Bonita gooseneck too. I like this much better. The switch seems more substantial and the steel base looks much nicer. I found the Bonita would shut off a bit early and is a bit slow. This definitely gets up to a full boil quickly. And the gooseneck works well. The thermometer is a really nice addition. It's no more that 2 deg off from my lavatools so I can get a nice fix on the 206 degrees for my drip coffee. I also like the 1.2 liter size. Gives me a bit extra space to rinse the cone well when I'm making a full liter of coffee without being too big

I’m super happy with the electric kettle. It pours very nice. It is good quality and no metal touches the water. I really like the thermometer, on the top, too. I did, however need to replace the screw that holds the thermometer tight. The original screw rusted, very quickly.

Generally, I enjoyed using the pot as it's simple to use, quick to boil, and thermometer gave a rough idea about the water temperature. A nut holding the thermometer underneath the lid started to rust after a couple weeks of use. It is a huge negligence of not using a true stainless nut. I will return it for refund.

Calienta muy rápido, el termómetro funciona muy bien lo que permite vigilar la temperatura del agua; el cuello permite controlar el goteo para distintos métodos de extracción de café. Fácil de limpiar.

Llega muy rápico al hervor y mantiene bien la temperatura por un rato, el flujo es muy bueno. Como contras, es muy ruidosa y el nivel mínimo de agua que requiere me parece un poco alto. Podría ser un poco más cómoda de agarrar para servir

Es muy sencilla de usar y a la fecha no tiene manchas. Es buen precio por el producto, la recomiendo más que las teteras digitales.
