After leaving a comment or two on Amazon with this question, Andobil replied rapidly with great customer service. It is indeed compatible with My Specific MacBook Pro 16 inch 2019 Laptop. It fits snugly and securely on either side of my MacBook Pro 16 in 2019 model Laptop. Installation was simple plug and play, no software to download, seconds in time. I now can connect my printer using a USB 3.0 cable rather than wireless connection. It's a personal preference related to security and privacy. The USB 3.0 port on the Andobil Limited Silver 7-in-2 USB C Hub. Works perfectly as well as adding additional convenience of plugging in on either side of my MacBook Pro model and in certain spaces where AC power is needed, fitting on either side of my computer is a great benefit. I've only used the Thunderbolt charge port and the USB 3.0 ports thus far. It works well with my portable Battery charge bank and my dual port thumb-drive for iOS and 3.0 USB ports. It kept both the Andobil USB-C HUB and my MacBook Pro fully charged for over 8 hours of travel on Flights and in Airports on layovers. If it had an ethernet port I'd Marry it. (smile) I'm looking forward to trying the HDMI and SD Card Reader ports but thus far its function, quality, light weight, portability and leather storage pouch have been additional bonuses. For those with Silver MacBook Pros, the Silver color of the Andobil USB-C HUB matches the silver color of the MacBook Pro perfectly. I've had it since Sunday, January 18, 2020 so far extremely happy.

Originally, I only gave a three-star rating because the product didn't work with a slim case that I have placed on my laptop, so I was disappointed on my purchase. If you are not using a case, this is a nice, sleek design and works very well. BUT, when they read my review, they contacted me and asked if they could send me a replacement that would fit and within a few days of the original shipment my replacement arrived. This is a really nice hub that has 9 ports so I can hook up the world to my laptop to an external monitor, printers, cameras, SD cards, and ethernet without compromising space or convenience. They sent me several emails to notify me of the product type, the shipment and follow up for the delivery. I highly recommend the company if it's not this product one of its many other options to fit your needs and the reason I took the time to come back here and update my rating.

9/20/19 Update to last review. Andobil’s customer service is some of the best I’ve ever seen. Shortly after my last review the reached out and offered to replace the old unit. They have since followed up a few times to make sure that it was working properly as expected. So far, the new unit has been working perfectly as it should. Thank you Andobil for the great customer service and support of your product!Has worked perfectly fine with no issues, until now! The HDMI has completely stopped working! Now I need to find another one so I can hook up and external monitor for dual screens. It has also stopped charging at one point and sometimes would get hot even if it was just sitting in the USB-C port not plugged into the charger. Something that costs this much should last longer than 6 months. If there is a plus side it looks nice, worked well while it lasted and the case was a nice touch.

I think this product is a great solid product. It does what it says, is light and simple and operates as advertised. I've used this for about a year.I would purchase this again, AND I HAVE! Over the last week my HDMI second monitor started to not sync with the MacBook pro and my power charge would intermittently stop working.My hub is plugged in and removed up to three times a day, every week with ethernet, usb3, power and HDMI being added and subtracted. Initially I worried that the USB C connectors on the MacBook Pro were loose.Ordered a new Andobil Hub and that was it! It was the original Hub's USB C connectors that became flexible and intermittent.I'm glad that the Hub failed gracefully enough to avoid harming the USB C connectors on my MacBook.

After I ordered this item I caught the review of a previous user reporting that it wasn't working with their laptop. I would like to say it was most likely a defective device itself - or it was a false review to generate some kind of gift.The one question I had with this: Is it thicker than the MacBook Pro 2018 itself? The answer: NOPE!This thing is super lightweight so it doesn't add much of a difference to your laptop's weight. Others offer Ethernet plugins which can be swapped out for added integration which I will probably be replacing this with after I grow out of it in a few months.Compared to others this should be priced closed to $29.99-34.99 due to feel and port availability.Overall though it has earned a solid 5 stores regardless of my gripes.
