Bones (DVD)

I had watched bones years ago and remembered it being reasonably entertaining. Watching it now though as a more experienced horror fan it’s really an underrated classic. The film is a ghost story that manages to bring in elements of urban decay gentrification and selling out a culture. The story does fall apart a little bit at the end but it’s worth it just for the impressive visuals and really bright gore that you see throughout. As for the big question of how is Snoop Dogg in the role… He’s actually really good. Because he comes across as so smooth he doesn’t overplay the role and he’s a much more believable horror villain. If you’re a fan of tales from the hood or Candyman definitely give this one a watch.

Good movie, entertaining and some great visuals on the horror side. Some really creepy vibes and a good splash of comedy. And Snoop.

Good movie good plot line they should think about re doing it though make it longer add some other elements in

I like Snoop and I definitely like Pam Grier. They make a cute couple in this horror thriller, which is quite a scarefest. Snoop is excellent as the number runner who has concern for his community and refuses to sell drugs. Pam Grier is great as his girlfriend. I don't watch this movie late at night and I love horror movies. It has some scary moments and that's something for me to say when I love scary movies so much and have seen at least fifty of them. There's a mystery in this one and some strange goings on that are revealed as the pictures progresses. It's quite entertaining and maybe I shouldn't say it, but I enjoy watching Snoop get his revenge.

This movie was funny and had a few serious points. Like Snoop in anything.

This film is underrated but remember its put together by a guy whos world is primarily the music studio.In my opinion a good film thats worth its salt causes the viewer to reflect on what they stand for as an individual. Snoops dip into the horror movie world achieves this.Jimmy Bones is a character with a degree of moral fortitude that is depressingly absent from a lot of people in his world.

Definitely my kind of film!Contrary to what other have said (and the general consensus), I think this is an excellent film with a very well thought out and written plot. A little fanciful perhaps but still great.The acting is much better than I've seen from most "A List" Hollywood stars of the last fifteen years. Pam Grier is excellent as always.Shame there wasn't a sequel.

this very good film belive it or not even with snoopie in the main role shock yes i have said that but it has some very dark n in places is the tale of a good pimp killed in the 70s and his sprit brought back in the 90s to wreak revenge on those that took his life... a very well made film with some nasty parts in it but its worth a watch.

This I thought might be terrible as I haven’t seen since it came out but we loved it! As good as I remember, entertaining and fun.
