This book couldn't have summed up my situation any better. It was as though parts of it were written just for me.I love that this book got straight to the point but in a compassionate way and without the waffle. It is advice from a Buddhist philosophy but I feel this book has sound advice for anybody who has trust issues regardless of their religious views.It also has some practical advice about how to become more trusting. It is certainly a book that gave me a lot to think about and that I will be reading again.

I have to admit that I chose this book without any recommendation I just looked at it and decided to buy it on audible. I bought in a time where everything was soo confusing for me. I was lost. I can’t describe how helpful it was more than any book that I have read before which had thousands of reviews. This book reflects exactly how many of our issues in life stem from having no trust in ourselves, our environments, and almost everything. It reflects exactly how that happened in our childhood and how it is affecting us now. It has a number of helpful exercises that were sooo helpful in increasing that trust and soothing the internal thoughts. I have not yet finished it and am already doing the exercises and adopting it in my daily life. So grateful and hope this review would help anyone who's feeling lost out there.

If you have been betrayed by someone else's lack of trustworthiness and are afraid that you won't be able to trust again, this is your book.Richo is eloquent, masterful and will calm your mind as you read. A most beautiful read even at our most heartbreaking times.

I read this book a year ago, as I have read many books this year, and I read a whole lot of books all the time. But this book stands out in my mind and heart as one that talks frankly about the requirements of a fair, trusting relationship- not only in intimate relationships but also in friendships. A beautifully written book, I was impressed with the author's writing style and depth. Not one to skim and be simple, this author comes from a deep foundation of knowledge and wants to let us in on his knowledge. Clearly laid out in a very organized manner, and precisely written to speak to us about a sometimes complicated subject without using complicated words, this author is one that has impressed me. Besides that, the messages through this book reaches my heart. Tender and devotional, this would also be a good 'christian' read for those christian marriages or relationships out there. Although God isnt mentioned. It is a deep and heartfelt book. The cover doesnt do it justice.

Once again, Dr. Ricoh has highlighted the fundamentals in developing trust in a relationship. He is so helpful through his own personal insights and has been willing to learn from his clients the subtle nuances of trust, fidelity, honesty and so on. This book has been very enlightening.
