Does what it says on the tin. Because the 3 pin plug is attached it is neater and don’t need an adapter but the downside is that you can’t plug it in to a bathroom shaver socket. I bought it because for some reason my oral B electric toothbrush doesn’t charge at all from a 2 pin shaver socket so this is ideal and means I don’t have to buy a new toothbrush or adapter as it relplacwa the original charger that came with the toothbrush. Worth the money and for me this was a good buy

Absolutely useless. I have a smart series 6000. This does NOT charge the item at all! Been on charge for 24 hours now and still the toothbrush is showing that it needs a charge!

Product worked fine and did its job but out of nowhere stopped working for no reason after 2.5 years after working perfectly fine charging my new replaced Oral B 3500N toothbrush really well. I changed the fuse to make sure it wasn’t the problem. It wasn’t. The unit still didn’t work. The plug itself is a sealed unit and the same with the part that goes into the toothbrush making it more difficult than necessary to open up and see what the problem is like wiring.I wanted a native 3 pin plug charger for my toothbrush that worked reliably and instead got something that died far too soon for such a simple product and one that even stops easy repairs.A waste of money in the end and I would have been better suited to keeping to the standard charges that come with the toothbrushes with an adaptor.Lesson learnt and never again.

I managed to lose my original Oral-B charger so bought this one online instead, it’s a great product and I love that it comes in black to match my toothbrush also! Only slight issue is that it seems to get really hot when its charging so it’s not something I would charge on carpets or any sort of fabric surface.

I was a little skeptical at first, but this went way above my expectations. This looks just like the official charger, both in terms of looks and build quality.The fact it's a standard 3-pin plug instead of the annoying 2-pin one is just so much more convenient. I wish these companies would just use them instead.I've used many adapters on Amazon to try and amend the problem, but none have worked.Don't waste your time and just get this instead.

It seems all Uk electric toothbrushes only come with a 220-240v charger- useless in Canada and the US where the voltage is 110v. This charger works on both power ranges and all you require is a compatible plug to plug it into the local mains. Hotels in Canada don't seem to have shaver sockets in hotels so you are on your own. If you try to buy anything to do the job in the shops, there is nothing available. You could buy a conversion wiring kit for your hotel room but you would need a competent electrician to install it - definitely not the way to go! I just use the multi voltage unit all the time.
