I got this for my son to replace his original AirPods charger. This works independent of whether or not you still have the original charger. It’s also inexpensive. You don’t have to buy $170 AirPods anymore if you just need a charger. Works like advertised.

I bought this product thinking that I could use it to replace my missing AirPods charging case. For some reason, the left side airpod only charges when it is physically pushed down into the dock. See photos. Not a great product. Will have to return.. :(

What a neat product. Now when I put my airpod in my pocket and forget where I placed my charger, I can drop them into this nicely built charger.I am always very leary of using NON Apple items with my apple products because of all the issues it may cause, but these haven't had a problem yet. As a matter of fact, they seem to charge a little faster than my AirPod container itself.The charging cable is about as durable as an Apple Certified cable. It tucks nicely up under neath where there is a little room for some of the cord. The base of this unit is a white silca type material which doesn't slide on my desk. The base has a cut out for the cord which is actually one of the best I have seen. It has a small slit then opens to a round opening where the cords can sit without being squeezed.The LED is Orange when charging and then changes to green when they are charged.The AirPods fit nice and snug into the unit and don't slide around and it doesn't take any excessive force to get them out.For the price, I would recommend them to friends and family as an additional unit to sit on the desk. It is pretty neat looking to top it off.

I did not know there was no pair button, however that is probably my fault for not reading the description. Otherwise this is a great charger although if airpods are connected to your phone they turn on when you get a phone call even when chzrging, kind of annoying when you answer the phone hello!? Hello!? Why isn't anyone answering me!?, Then by the time you figure it out ya gf already cursed you out and hung up. True story. Lol

Note this will not allow you to sync your earpods . Luckily my son already did that before he lost charger. Good luck trying to get replacement at Apple. They require serial number and earpods . Then you have to make appointment. This was a lifesaver . Charged and boom works great!!!!!

This product is constantly powered as long as long as it is plugged in. This doesn't matter much, however it is also not a smart charger, so if you leave your Airpods inserted, it will constantly push power to them. Overtime, this will degrade the Airpod's batteries. Also, unlike the Airpod charging case, this product is not equipped with magnets, which causes you to deliberately insert the headphones properly in order for them to seat and charge, as opposed to the charging case, which offers a "snap" as the magnets react with each other helping to pull them into their charging port.I am currently using this charger at my desk and really only have my Airpods inserted when I am amidst a day of conference calls, so that I can quickly grab one (or both) at a moment's notice to take a call, replace them afterward, only to do the same thereafter with confidence they are at full charge for any call duration and also when exiting the office and using the Airpods during my commutes. The lack of the above mentioned magnet is pretty annoying if taking them in and out of their charging dock over and over.I would not use this product as a constant means of charging/storing your Airpods, but it does work with regard to providing charge to the Airpods. It is past my return window and because the product is sort of useful I am happy with it, however I would not order it again, recommend it to anyone, and to be honest it's kind of pointless. I'm sure there are some who can find the proper application, but this is just kind of an unnecessary accessory.

I bought this because with my first gen airpods, the left side stopped charging properly in the case. I thought the charging element inside the case was not working, as I would have to jiggle the left airpod constantly to get it to charge, but it kept getting worse. Finally I took chance on this charger rather than shelling out another $150 on new pods. Not only did it easily fully charge both airpods in a matter of minutes, but somehow it seems to have corrected the problem I was having with my airpod case. Not sure how, and could be a coincidence, but in any case this charger succeeds in charging up my pods very quickly and without creating any new problems.
