Well built
This is a very nice item. Arrived in perfect condition. I was impressed with a drain plug on the bottom of the tank with an " o ring " seal.

Perfect complement if you have a full-scale lift in your garage
We bought this for our son-in-Law who had a full-scale lift installed in his capacious garage. The oil change tank is a good complement to the lift. It connects to a compressor easily so emptying the tank into some sort of deposal tank to transport used oil to a nearby oil disposal facility will be reasonably easy. A previous reviewer had mentioned a problem with Arken's oil drain cap in the base of the holding tank. Thanks for that review. It appears to have reminded Arksen to put a proper threaded shoulder on the drain hole so now the cap with washer tightens nicely. As a precaution, we used a bit of sealing compound to make sure there would be no leaks.

Drain away
This thing works awesome. I put a pad inside the bowl to help eliminate the splatter. Some reviews stated the some fittings leak. I made sure everything was tight and used plumber's tape that came in the kit. So far no leaks.

Needs a valve for small containers
This is a very decent unit, sturdy and well made. It is great for discharging into big drums or containers. However, for homeowners like myself, who empty into several small containers for recycle, it will be messy without a valve to control the output. This is because once the unit is pressurized, even if you close the supply via the regulator, there will be a lot of material still pouring out (until the pressure inside the unit reduces to almost nothing), resulting in a messy floor. For my modification I used:3, 1/2” npt fittings with 3/4” barb hose end1, 1/2” npt ball valve, female ends1, conduit hanger #1 (Home Depot, electrical isle)Procedure:1. Throw away the metric sized black fitting in the bottom and replace it with one of the fittings.NOTE: modify thread to 1/2”-14 standard pipe thread.2. Install the #1 conduit hanger on top and fasten with the supplied metric Allen bolt (6x10-1.0)3. Install the other two fittings in the valve, and secure the valve in the hanger4. Cut the hose to desired length, push onto the barb end of the fitting, and secure with hose clamps. This bottom portion of the hose also serves as a fluid level guide.5. I lifted the pipe with the pan just enough to clear the ball valve for pressurization, marked and cut the upper hose at that level, so the metal end can reach the pan on one end, and connect to the cutoff valve on the other. This way any remaining oil in the hose above the valve cutoff can drain easily inside the pan.The transferring process now becomes easy. Pressurize the unit to 5-10 psi, open the valve and start filling the container. Stop the flow by closing the valve. When done, depressurize the unit, position the hose inside the pan and open the valve for any remaining oil to drain.I hope this helps.
