Is a good word-building and storytelling enjoyment for young readers
Annoying Orange, internet and TV star, is also a comics champion, as this "fresh squeezed" collection of shorts shows.Annoying Orange very much lives up to his name in these kid-friendly tales from Mike Kazaleh and Scott Shaw (holler if you remember his work on the '80s kids' comic Captain Carrot nostalgically). The comics are based on the internet video creation of Dane Boedigheimer, who, along with writer Spencer Grove, have generated a phenomenon with their tart hero. The adventures are silly fun, such as when human being Nerville builds a time machine that is so small it can only be used by oranges or when Orange tries to get on a cooking show --- until he realizes he's on the menu and runs away with his friends and crashes into several other shows.Annoying Orange: Orange You Glad You're Not Me? is good word-building and storytelling enjoyment for young readers.-- John Hogan
