BenQ 5J.J8805.001 Replacement Lamp for SX912/MH740/SH915 Projector

Trust the other reviews: Half the cost of the OEM one from BenQ, but also half the brightness. It works okay for my application, but you've been warned! Installation was a breeze.

Going to have to rate this product at 1 star, simply for the fact that it was less bright than the old lamp I was replacing which is starting to go out. Avoid these lamps at all cost.

This product is terrible. It has about half the brightness of the original lamp. And I get to pay to have it returned. Thanks

I bought this two months ago and the bulb is already dying. The picture is washed out and I want a refund.

Lasted 3 weeks. Not as bright as OEM.

Purchased two of these replacement bulbs and both broke, in the same spot: the glass lens that is secured by a screw and clip in front of the bulb. You can see the defect in the attached image.I returned one of them as it broke before the "A-to-Z" guarantee period, and have not heard any reply back. That was three months ago. Absolutely no response. And that was after following their specific guidelines for returning with a tracking number. I can see that it was signed for on their end.I should have known better than to take a chance on sub-par aftermarket bulbs, but please learn from my experience and DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
