I saw this serving spoon at a high-end retail store for much more money so the value is great. It's a beautiful serving spoon for gravy, sauces or compote and would look beautiful on a brunch buffet table. I love this serving spoon and highly recommend

I'm immediately a big fan of this gadget. I like the idea of pretty plating and had bought some squeeze bottles to drizzle sauces, but found I wasn't using them much because it was awkward to fill them for just a few plates and clean up took longer than I liked. They weren't even ideal for most sauces because often the squeeze nozzle wasn't big enough for thicker sauces, but too big for thin ones. This simple spoon looked like a good idea, and it's great. I can now drizzle any sauce, thick or thin, with decent accuracy where I want it and clean up is a breeze. The spoon is a good size--bigger than I expected--so I can get enough to do at least one plate per filling, and sometimes more. The bowl holds 3 tablespoons of sauce. I do wish there was a hole in the handle for hanging, but it can be stored in a drawer. All in all, this is a kitchen tool I'll get a lot of use from. Highly recommended if you like to decorate your plates with drizzled sauce.

The heavy gauge metal is way too thick and heavy for my hand. Can you please make a cheap, lightweight one that is 1/3 of this thickness? My arthritis is not agreeable with this heavy gauge.

As other reviewers have stated, this is more the size of a gravy ladle than a "spoon" but I find that actually makes it more valuable for me. We have been using this at the table for sauces and gravies, and find we are using less overall because we get the sauce precisely where we want it. I don't know how many calories this saves over the course of a year, but every little bit helps, right? Additionally, it is very useful when it comes to decorative plating at a much more reasonable price than the drawing or decorating spoons I have found. The ONE user who said hers had deep and sharp gouges along the sides either got a return after someone else dropped it in the garbage disposal or got a clearly defective unit. My experience with Amazon has always been great when it comes to returns/refunds on items that arrive damaged.

Great quality, heavy gauge SS. I love this Drizzle Spoon! Functional, yet pretty enough to go on the table top and the little spout makes it really easy to navigate your sauce, syrup, gravy or melted chocolate sauce without making a mess. I like to plate my dishes like a real chef and this tool definitely helps you create a work of art. I wouldn't say you need this spoon but I'm sure glad I got it.

Waaaaaaay too big!

This was a gift for my boyfriend, who really enjoys plating food.We look for excuses to use it. It's obviously not one of those kitchen necessities, although it ends up in the dishwasher more often than I would have expected. It's heavy and solid and the drizzle spout works. I'm giving it five stars because I can't think of anything that I would improve.
