Raw, Organic, Sun-Dried TigerNuts have a sweet and slightly nutty flavor. They are known throughout the world by different names, including nookon or chufa. A TigerNut by any name, however, is a little tuber with a great deal of superfood qualities. Raw TigerNuts can be eaten straight out of the bag or soaked in water to soften and enhance flavor. Both are delicious! Ingredients: Organic TigerNuts

I absolutely LOVE these!
I don’t write many reviews and recently when I do, they haven’t been positive. BUT this is certainly my exception. I absolutely am addicted to these things. Both the sliced and whole versions. Albeit the sliced are a bit easier on the jaw. I love the taste and wish I could sit and eat an entire bag but they do take a lot of chewing power. Literally to where my jaw is sore the next day. But I power through and keep eating. Like I said SO addicting! In a great way. I mad my first batch of Tigernut Milk last night with great success. Also added it to my iced chai and it is awesome even mixed in with a bit of oat milk. Definitely recommend this product for not only those on a limited diet like myself but to anyone who wants a healthy AND tasty snack!

Mixed review - moldy pieces
I am torn on the review. I actually really like the vanilla-like flavor and the texture and am happy that I found out about tiger nuts. Unfortunately about every tenth piece had a very distinct moldy flavor (like when you have a moldy blueberry in your handful). So for that price of $20 it's not great quality because it seems like during the drying process there is some mold happening. It says soaking in water to get them softer. I wonder how long, because when I soaked them for about 15min, they were still completely hard.

Great for Dairy Free, Nut Free, Corn Free Milk
We mainly use these in our NutraMilk for making allergy free milk. Having a severe corn allergy means there are NO safe commercial options, and these are perfect for DIY. Also great for making porridge with avocado and maple.

Sweet, nutty, chewy. I like these!
I know these aren't for everyone, but I'm rather fond of them. I'm on an AIP diet, so pretty restricted when it comes to snacks. I like the chewiness and subtle, sweet, nutty flavor. And because they take so long to chew, I really can't overeat on them! Someone else mentioned that her kid got constipated after eating them. For me, they act as a mild laxative, which is great.

I hate to be critical of a company that is trying ...
I hate to be critical of a company that is trying to fill the much-needed void for ready-to-eat Paleo snacks, but these are definitely not it for my family. I know many people eating Paleo are looking to heal/prevent gut health issues, and these actually made my son quite sick. He ate about 1/4 cup of them, nothing crazy, though I was surprised he ate that many to be honest. These are really strangely chewy with a cardboard-like flavor. After about two days of constipation (unlike him) he finally had a bowel movement that looked like straight wood chips and he even bled a little bit! I definitely don't enjoy them and several weeks later they are about to get tossed.

Not my idea of a good snack
I like to try new foods. You never know when you are going to find a new favorite. "TigerNuts," remind me of half-popped popcorn kernels. You pop one in your mouth and chew and chew but you just can't chew it up completely. The packaging includes a number of claims without referencing a source, such as, "#1 source of Resistant Starch," and "Comprised 80% of our Paleo ancestors' diet 2 million years ago," that I have to admit makes me suspicious. I only had to try one "TigerNut," to know it would not be a source of "Resistant Starch," for me.

Delicious Snack, Healthy too
My son and I have several food sensitivities so we are always looking for different snacks that are healthy. We read about these from Dr. Amy Myers cookbook and decided to give them a try. They are very unique and delicious not to mention so healthy for you with lots of nutrients and healthy for your gut. We look forward to trying other tigernut products.

Great flavor but hard to chew- hay like texture. Not that I've ever eaten hay.
Loved the flavor of the tiger nuts. Resembles hazelnut flavor. I will say, it is hard to chew. I decided to toss them in my Vitamix with water and make milk. The milk was delicious!! Gave me so much energy! As if I ate a meal.
