The LightDoctor 10, Near Infrared Red and LED Light Therapy with Safety Timer & Custom Carrying Case.

I am a licensed physical therapist and have been practicing for over 23 years primarily in pediatrics, I am also over 50 years old experienced 2 debilitating spinal cord injuries, 2 back surgeries and frankly for the past 5-8 years has caused a considerable amount of pain and discomfort. I also consider myself a “biohacker“and I am always looking for a natural but highly effective ways of leveraging my body into delivering greater healing potential or cellular optimization. For a number years red and near infrared light therapy has caught my attention, I have tried several light therapy devices/products but by far Dr. Turchin’s Lightdoctor has exceeded them all especially for targeted treatment- delivering an application that is highly effective but requires very little time to administer. I received my unit last Friday and probably was in 4-5/10 level of pain/discomfort in my lower back I unpackaged The Lightdoctor, read the instructions and treated my go back with approximately 4 spot applications lasting 1 minute each. In about 5-10 minutes literally all my pain was gone. I have also used it and several other body parts with similar success.I consider myself quite well informed regarding red and near infrared light therapy, but I wanted a deeper understanding regarding protocols for acute/chronic pain/ injury and also was planning on procuring a device for the pediatric rehabilitation clinic which is a satellite specialty center for a major city Children’s Hospital. I contacted Dr. Turchin and he graciously gave me insight, strategies and applications for my own personal use and use in the pediatric setting. Regarding the device itself I appreciate that the Lightdoctor comes in a durable handy case, easy to use, and comes with a Published book by Dr. Turchin outlining nearly every injury/ailment -detailing the protocol for use of the Lightdoctor. In comparison to other devices that I have used -based on the listed specifications it is much more highly powered and concentrated, devices I have previously used with power densities of 20-100mw/cm2 compared to the Lightdoctor’s 365 mw/cm2-one can feel it’s intensity and power (in a pleasant way) when it’s being applied or administered. Treatment last between 30 seconds in 1 minute per area. The area it treats is quite generous for being a more local targeted treatment device. I like the fact that I could use it on my low back -my largest problematic area, but it is equally effective on any other body parts that has been stressed, injured, spastic or restricted. This is an outstanding Therapeutic device to have for personal use and in the clinical setting. It naturally facilitates the bodies primary healing mechanism by targeted stimulation of mitochondrial activity (the foundation of cellular function and growth) avoiding the use of symptom-masking pharmaceuticals like over-the-counter pain reliever’s, anti-inflammatories and analgesics. I myself and my staff are excited for our pediatric patient population as they stand to benefit from shortened healing times, faster recovery and effective pain relief. There are very few units on the market that deliver what the Lightdoctor does. You would have to pay a considerable fortune to obtain them, I am grateful that Dr. Turchin Has made his quality product affordable and obtainable to many. I look forward to it’s continued use in my personal life also as our staff begins to incorporate this in the treatment of various pediatric injuries/diagnoses.

Today I experienced nothing short of a miracle, and I assure you I do not use that term lightly. I have been in constant pain, a deep ache, for nearly 3 days now, triggered by pushing myself too hard on my treadmill. The pain hovered around a 6-7 and has woken me up in the middle of the night, causing total sleeplessness and extreme discomfort no matter what position. However, today I pulled out the light machine which i had sitting in a box, unopened for fear of it being a challenge to use, and did a couple minutes along my lower back. Not only was this thing beyond easy to setup and use, but within 30 minutes my pain was GONE! I am not talking reduced or lessened, but GONE completely, back to normal. I am astonished and so excited to have such a powerful tool accessible to me, even something i can offer to share with friends! If you suffer from any kind of body pains, do yourself and favor and invest in this machine! I am so grateful I did!

This is the best thing I have ever bought for healing my body. I have owned another LED light that was only 1500 mw and the LightDoctor is 8000mw, which is 6x as powerful. I can't even use the other LED light any longer as it just is so weak compared to this one. I have used this LED on acute injuries like twisting my ankle dancing or overdoing it hiking too long and the pain is gone after the use. I think you have to understand that this unit is as powerful as a $6000 laser unit. So honestly, it is an incredible deal what they are asking for this light.I am mainly using it on my chronic injuries of back pain, torn ligaments, and muscle strains. I have found that it has sped up the process of healing and gotten me out of pain faster even if the ligament isn't fully healed yet. I have been using it on my spine daily in my yoga practice in yoga positions. Not only is incredibly relaxing but I know it is treating my spinal cord which is a profound thing. I have also been using it on my brain injury which LED have been known to help repair brain damage.The unit itself is well made. I love the 1-minute timer on the unit. As my old LED light I gave myself severe burns when falling asleep with it on accident. That will never happen with this unit as it automatically turns off. It also has a switch if you want to use it for less than a minute which I have been doing on my brain. The plug has a screw in part that goes directly into the light. This prevents the cord from falling out which used to happen on my other LED light. The case is so well made and makes it easy to transport the light to my office. The book that it comes with is well written and makes you realize just how many ways and symptoms you can use this light for.I use it on my clients in every session after I work part of their body. As I know the light will prevent them from being sore later. I even just bought another light to rent out in my private bodywork practice.The customer service was great. I had an issue and called them and got a person on the phone! They were kind and got my issue resolved right away. I have also emailed the other contact for technical support which I got a prompt reply on.I take it with me when I travel internationally as I honestly can't be without this little light. I look forward to buying a few more units to rent out to clients as it has been so helpful for my clients.I only recommend this LED light to all my clients. There is a lot of junk out there in LEDs on the market so beware! Even the LED on my biomat is so low in potency it is not really medicinal, there is nothing quite like the LightDoctor. I think every household needs one.
