I ordered this for my son who is about 160lbs. It's a great weight for him and he says he's sleeping much better since using it. It's very soft, and seems like great quality too. I love that it's 100% cotton. The beads distribute nicely and make for even weight distribution across the blanket. We are very happy with it.

I had bought one for a gift for my autistic grown grandson, which he loves. I then bought mine and love it!! Have to get one for my camper now. I do not sweat under this blanket. I use a really thin blanket to cover that stays put so I have not had to wash the weighted blanket. Don't plan to do often. It is quiet, and feels like a gentle hugs! Highly recommend!

I was so impressed with this blanket. I opened the box to find a well made, super heavy duty and very soft blanket. increase sleep time and comfort. you can see it almost covers the whole thing, so this would really be perfect for a full size bed.

I didn't know I needed this product, though I suspected I might benefit from a weighted blanket. I received it as a gift (based on a casual comment) and I'm SO pleased with it. From the very start this blanket has helped me fall asleep quicker and stay asleep longer. The gentle sensation of weight is very calming. Now I don't want to sleep without it. In fact, I took it with me on a recent road trip!I think a certain type of person benefits from having a weighted blanket, and I'm one of them. Because it might not be for everyone, I don't know how giftable it is.

I really can not say if I sleep better (I've had sleep problems for a long time). However, it feels very good to lie under this blanket. Otherwise, I had spent a lot of time in the evening with the "set up my nest" and had to constantly reorientate positions. Now I am satisfied much faster and when turning hardly anything changes :) Curiosity prompted me to open the corner of the quilt to detect the internal materials. No doubt, the interior is really covered with glass beads.Sometimes I just wonder if a number heavier might not be even more enjoyable than the one that was recommended to me according to the calculation.Nevertheless, top!

The blanket is great but the description specifically states glass beads which help regulate temperatures better, instead per the description card included with the blanket, it is filled with poly pellets and cotton. I specially ordered this one because of the glass beads so it's extremely disappointing it came with a different filler...

Product provides a "cocoon-like" feeling. Recipient will let me know how it fairs during warmer months.

STATS: 15lbs, 48"x72", Single Size Weighted Blanket- Fits a full sized bed perfectly!!!As a 27yr old woman with a strong type A personality, I can certainly say this blanket calms you after a high impact and stressful day. I do not think I have ever fallen asleep so fast or stayed asleep all night long. I get a full 8 hours of high-quality sleep every night. I am one of those people who used to sleep in the strangest positions but with this blanket, I am not tossing and turning into new positions all night long. I do not wake up with a crick in my neck from an awkward position. It's not that the blanket is so heavy that it pins you to the bed, but the gentle pressure allows you to almost sink into your bed and into sleep. You can certainly move around and change up positions without any problem. I also find that the gentle pressure from the blanket helps me with the aches and pains in my knees and ankles. I run every day and train Muay Thai 3-4 times a week for about 2 hours per session. My knees and ankles are shot from years of abuse and constant use, basically, at the end of the day, I am hurting. I think the blanket's pressure acts as a mild compression brace of sorts; if that makes sense? Not sure what it is, but all I know is that I am not falling asleep with heating pads wrapped around my knees and ankles anymore.This is a high-quality blanket at a fraction of the cost of other weighted blankets. I was able to get this blanket for $37.49 over black Friday. There are loops in every corner and in the middle of each side to attach the blanket inside a cover to protect it. I am weighting on a cover to come in for it as it is not suggested to wash these blankets.
