Good bag for overnighter! A little thin, but I like that it doesn't take up much room. Still sewms like a good quality! Held up well for our trip!

My wife purchased this foldable duffle bag for us to take along on a trip to Europe. Flying over, she had one carry-on, and I had two. this foldable duffle early fit into my larger non-foldable duffle carry-on where we had neck pillows, snacks, a change of clothes (incase our checked bags were delayed), etc. This foldable duffle, with its own attached carry pouch, can be used for any number of uses. Our primary purpose was to have another carry-on bag for the return trip that we could use carry home souvenirs or other small items purchased abroad. You could also use it to keep soiled laundry away from clean clothes in you suitcase during travel or on your way home. I can't really say about the durability and sturdiness as we only used this bag once so far, but it word as intended. It is made of very thin material as you would expect for something that can be folded into a small package. It did what we needed it to do.

This bag can be folded down into itself and almost disappear if you can remember how you took it out. I bought this bag to replace a 30 year old bag that the zipper broke on. That bag had a semi-rigid floor that folded to the side to flatten it. This was what I wanted to keep the bag in shape for packing and will make a floor out of masonite. I am satisfied with the bag as it is but will like it better with the floor. I will give up the foldability but it will still fold down but not quite as small. Overall I will be happy with it.

This bag is just what I needed for extra purchases on a long trip. It’s very light and folds into an easy to pack size. It looks very sturdy for this type of bag. I looked at many options before purchasing and am happy with my choice.

I bought this duffel for one reason only - it is the maximum size you can use as a personal item on flights with carriers such as Frontier and Spirit. I am writing this review as it is currently raining in Cancun, so I have actually used the duffel. It carried my 15.4" MacBook Pro, a camera, books, a change of clothing (and a few spares) on the trip down here and still had quite a bit of space that went unused. So why didn't it get a 5-star rating? Utility: Other than the huge interior of the bag there are only two pockets. One zips, the other does not, and you have to be very careful not to spill the contents of the zip pocket all over the place. In short, there are no small pockets for storing a variety of small items for easy access. The zip pocket also serves as a sleeve to slip the bag over the handle of your checked bag. In terms of ever folding it down to its minimum dimensions when not using it, good luck with that - I'd never have the patience for the process.The material it is made of may seem a little flimsy, and while it is thin, I think it will hold up well against most things I am ever likely to put it through. The handles are easy to use and the shoulder strap is a real plus. While not padded, the shoulder strap was comfortable to use and is likely to dig in only under the heaviest of loads. It has a more upright shape than I would choose to use as a gym duffel, but it was a good choice for travel. For this trip we took one checked bag and two personal items for two people and only had to pay the checked bag fee, so this duffel has already saved me money.
