Easy to replace my broken bracket. Just be sure to peel off manufacturer label to reuse again on the new bracket to cover the screw. Happy customer.

As prior reviews said, this is an exact replacement for the towel bar design commonly used for screw through the door design. I had read some comments that it was a very tight fit. I had the old part for comparison with the new, and before dry fitting to check the fit, I looked closely and saw that there was a small slot in the original piece (see picture of original) that was not in the new. Now this may not be the case for everyone, but this is what I encountered. Fortunately, I have a Dremel tool with a tiny bit to carve a channel out in the new piece so that it matched the old one. Once I had made the modification, I was able to insert the bracket into the bar. Having kept the old matching screws and finger bracket, the assembly went together as it should. I was very happy that the threads matched exactly. Don’t over tighten! You do have to be a bit creative you get this to work, but it does work. Nice to see it is made in the USA. Might explain the pricey price. Still, worth it.
