Second favorite tea light, but still good product
A little more expensive but the remote is worth it. It's a little too cool white compared to a normal tea light, but still rather close and good product, so 5 out of 5. I see there is an amber option and since I want a warmer candle, maybe that is one I should try but other reviews look very amber, so probably too far passed the real thing.Full review of all others: Color correction in photo shows most realistic and true color.1. large "flame" and somewhat strong yellow color.2. Cheapest looking construction, very similar to #7.3. FAVORITE and closest to what a real tea light is. This is what I will keep and buy more of as it is bright and most resembling a candle.4. Greenish hue and different shades. Inconsistency overpowered potential.5. Rather cool white, but nice and bright with a handy remote. They have an option for "Amber" color which I bet will be more yellow than the true tea light and what I'm looking for, but good looking nonetheless (hence the higher price). If you want a bright candle with a little cooler white than a real tea light, this is not far off and second favorite.6. Very orange but for a Halloween maybe that's what you're looking for...7. Very dim and true yellow, not warm feeling.8. More amber warm color but still strong yellow and not true to real candle.

Great lights, but high standby draw.
Great flicker, and long-range remote is very handy. We've had these for a year now and are quite pleased. After a recent battery change following low usage I became skeptical of their standby draw however, and put a multi-meter on one. When on full-bright it was using 1.60 - 1.80 milliamps. But when turned "off"/standby with the remote, it still drew .21 milliamps. Apparently 9 days off takes the same battery power as 1 day on. When the physical switch was turned off, it then drew no power. If they really do live up to their 200hr battery life claim, it sounds like they'd only be good for 3 months in the standby position, though our experience has probably been closer to 4 months with mild usage. But they will certainly go dead after a few months of waiting to be turned on with the remote. I didn't have the patience to set the 4hr timer and wait till it shut off to see if it still drew juice, but it stands to reason that if you could turn it back on with the remote, the circuit is still energized.

Nice Lights
We have an icon corner, and it has a lot of candles. I found that it was actually too many candles, and I just didn't have the gumption to light them all every evening and every morning. So, I decided to get these lights. They are not perfect. I got the white ones, and they're just a touch too white. However, if you don't look right at them, or if you have them up higher, they do a fair imitation of a real candle (if you have it on that setting). And, they are SO much easier than lighting a bunch of candles. I just click the on the button! Some people said that the battery is hard to change. I did not find that to be the case. I ordered the batteries Amazon recommended, and just changed one today. It was very easy to do. (Based on other reviews, I was expecting it to be very hard. It just wasn't. Not at all.)The batteries in some of them certainly didn't seem to last the full 200 hours, but most of them are still going.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. And, they are an excellent value compared to other systems I've seen in the store.

Just as Described!
Love the color of the candle and flames! Flickers making them look realistic, and can operate them with ease using the remote for on/off, hour, and dimmer programming. Would have given 5 stars if battery accessibility was more user friendly. No tool provided so that customer can open battery lid to replace battery. Tool required to replace battery is so small, and I have been unable to find it at my local hardware store. I will have to special order the tool to replace batteries which is extra cost.

Pretty amber glow with some flexibility
I use this battery powered votive-style light to help illuminate a hobbit diorama for Christmas. The golden glow adds highlights and a bit of color, which I like. The remote is handy for controlling intensity, but I also appreciate the manual switch on each light that lets me turn the lights completely off to save the batteries during longer periods of disuse. So far I've been quite happy with this purchase.

Great product for the price
I received these candles 18 days ago and immediately set them up in my arrangements. I read previous reviews that stated the batteries didn’t last very long, but that wasn’t my experience at all. I set the timer for 8 hours each night and the first battery has finally died in one votive, after approximately 140 hours of use. There are a few others that are getting dim, but most are still shining bright. They are very realistic from a distance or if hidden in an enclosed votive. I would 100% recommend.

Short lived.
These look nice, but they barely last. I have bought them twice, because I like the color and that they are small with a remote, but due to the fact that they dim so quickly, it's just not worth it. Won't be repurchasing.

Great little lights
I purchased these to replace another set of remote control tea lights because the first set didn’t last more than three days. The timer works great and they have lasted a good long time. Only time will tell as it says 200 hours of battery life. Initially I had a little trouble with getting the to come on, but once I did they are great.

They work but give off a yellow color, not as realistic
I love the remote but I'm not fond of the yellowish color they give off when lit. It doesn't look realistic like the larger remote candles I have which have a realistic glow that is more white.
