Great for making eyes on a miniature
This is super fine tipped. If you use it for miniature painting, I suggest putting a matte finish on after, in order to protect the ink from smearing.

Great! Highly recommended!
I am in love! I wanted to try this because the nib in the micron .03 liner just doesn't cut it, and I'm so glad I did. I like to use printer paper with my alcohol inks(because it really sucks it up), and this pen doesn't even falter with the heaviest of applications. Even when the alcohol ink has bled thru, this liner stays put and doesn't blow out whatsoever. Highly recommend it!

The very best pen for intricate pen and ink
Prismacolor 005 is the absolute best...I love their pens...tried a couple 005 Microns from Michael's and within one drawing the pen was out of ink! Granted my work is super detailed with much shading, but one Prisma 005 got me through 6 drawings in an important series I did for the Southern Vermont Art Center/Manchester Music Festival fundraiser coming up in June.Thank you Hyatt's Graphic Supply Co. I was desperate to get back to work! I'll use you again!

Nice fineline but runs out quickly, fragile tip
Very nice at first. For the price, I felt it was not durable enough. Used it for comics during an 11 week period doing maybe six pages a week. Toward the end of the 10th week (just when my project was due) it began skipping at times and the tip seemed less sharp, began blotting. All in all, you can accomplish the same thing with any black fine line pen. For the cost of Prismacolor, I'd hesitate to get this again unless it was for a one-time project that needed exceptionally sharp, fine lines.Just as I found ordinary mechanical pencils work as well as expensive art pencils in the same graphic medium, I'm going to try standard fine line pens for inking until I find one I like. There just isn't money in the budget to pay for this elite brand name that seems to work mainly on its reputation.

This is a safe pen to mark your Bible. It’s dries fast and doesn’t bleed through.
One of these pens leaked but I like them so much I ordered another one. I use it to make notes in my Bible. It doesn’t bleed and dries fast.

Best Fine Line Pen So Far
I've had Derwent and Sakura pens in this size and they all wore out very quickly. The tip of this pen is pretty solid, hasn't worn down much at all with use. The ink is consistent and solid, it doesn't dry out quickly either.

One of the two pens I ordered does not work.
Unfortunately, one of the pens I ordered does not work at all. The other pen works well. I have not contacted the seller about this, for which I take responsibility. It is possible if I had they would have corrected the problem.

Waste of my money
Could not believe the first time I used this pen, only three days after receiving it in the post. I Was about to use the pen to sign a photograph I had professionally printed, but the pen leaked on my hands, all over my shorts and the floor. I've totally wasted my money on what I thought was a quality pen and now I've got to buy a new pair of shorts. I was amazed it didn't leak on the photograph. Absolutely gutted!
