Accent Plus 57070021 Fringed Hammock, 47.25 x 106.25, Cream

Last summer I purchased a 4-point hammock with stand from a local discount store. Because it was difficult to move and store, I left it outside and when I laid on it this spring, the polyester fabric ripped.Since the frame is still nice, I thought I would try this as a replacement. However, this is made of canvas and ropes, and it stretches. so the frame was too small. It worked, as long as I didn't mind laying on the ground. :-/I picked up a set of hammock straps, and since we have a long straight branch, it now hangs nicely from the tree! It is an all cotton fabric, which breathes, and the decor on the side is a nice touch. My granddaughter immediately fell in love with this one! It can be easily unhooked from the straps and rolled up. The spacer bar makes this a nice balance between the 2-point and 4-point hammock.IF you have never used a 2-Point hammock, here are a few tips1) these are best hung high enough to sit on them with your feet barely touching the ground to make them easy to get into and out of.2) to get in, you swing this upright as if you are standing against a swing, with your bottom end at about the middle. As you pick your feet up, you are laying somewhat sideways across it, and it is easy to turn your body into the long position.Because it isn't a heavy stiff canvas, rather a lighter weight cotton one, I can't certify to longevity. But I can tell you that it is very comfortable! I am pleased.EDITED - because this does not give a weight limit, I thought it would be helpful to know that both my granddaughter and I (combined weight of nearly 270 pounds) have shared this with no problems, well, except the part where we both had to get in. ;-)

This hammock was such a wonderful purchase. I feel like the value is great for the price, and the quality is impressive! I haven't been as careful with dirty feet as I should have considering the lovely white color, and I haven't yet tried washing it, but I feel like a good spray with the hose will take care of any marks. The macrame detailing is so lovely, I get compliments from the neighbors all the time. The wood is also really sturdy and I've never come close to flipping it or falling out, it is nicely balanced. I would recommend for a covered area, though; I imagine constant rain and dirt would not let this guy perform as well as he has for me. Totally recommend!

The size and look of this hammock are fantastic for the price. I did not give 5 stars because the material doesn’t seem very outdoor friendly. It gets dirty quickly. I know you’re probably thinking “it’s white, what do you expect” well I just replaced this with a different white hammock from ikea that was outdoor friendly and never showed dirt so I was hoping this one would be the same.Edit: It lasted me about 2 years and broke in the middle, likely from being in the direct AZ sun. I might order another one still.

I bought this to replace an older hammock and make our garden look fresh while it's for sale. It is pretty and gives a nice effect, The price is great, The fabric looks of lower quality. Not sure how long it will last here in Florida. But works and looks great as a staging piece.

I was so pleased with this hammock, I have recommended it to friends. It is beautiful, and very well made, Sprayed it with 'camp dry to keep it nice, but always bring it in, hasn't been left out, it is such a light color, used it all summer and looks great. The grand kids love it, when they are over they have to have it out and hang in it for hours, so relaxing. I am very happy I chose this Hammock.

I have bought 2 of these. I get compliments on how pretty it is. Is sturdy and has held up even after leaving out in the rain. Which I don't advise as the cotton will mildew. You can remove the mildew if it is not too far gone, by a scrubbing of soapy water and a little bleach. Be sure to rinse all of this out thoroughly or you will damage the cotton.

Really pretty! Loved it but got covered in black mould within 2 weeks of keeping outside.

It's really comfortable and it fits two without a problem. Material is what I expected. Good purchase!
