The Ultimate Shrimp Book: More than 650 Recipes for Everyone's Favorite Seafood Prepared in Every Way Imaginable

A lot of recipes involving multiple steps
First of all, the cover arrived slightly dented and bent. If it had been for a gift, I would have returned it. I looked through it and found a lot of recipes that involve standing at the stove for making sauces, which at my age I am limited to how long I am able to stand in one place. I will try the simple recipes using mostly large shrimp which we order from the west coast fisheries. I think you could do just as well by searching for the recipes online.

A great variety of shrimp recipes
I live on the Gulf Coast where shrimp abound and this book covers that subject nicely!

Wish this book had been thought thru better
I'm not completely impressed with this book. It does have some good recipes in it. There are no pictures and no step by step help. I have found some that I do like but I would not pay full price for this book.

The only shrimp book you will ever need!
If you love shrimp, this is the only book you will ever need for recipes on how to prepare them! If you can't find a recipe for shrimp in this book, it does not exist!

Very Disappointing
I'm a shrimp fanatic, and I bought this based on a recommendation in The New York Times. While the recipes might almost be considered comprehensive, it's mostly a collection of old standbys, recipes for which you could probably pick up with a quick search on any good Internet cooking site. There's little imagination or innovation shown.
