Pie is great! Lots of rhubarb chunks! However, Foodservice Direct does a less than stellar job shipping. They refuse to ship overnight - ships 2-3 days. By the time they arrive, no dry ice and pies starting to thaw. While I would love to order more - I'm apprehensive to do so because of the lousy job Foodservice Direct does in shipping them.

My favorite pie is rhubarb. Rhubarb can be expensive to buy to make my own pie and the Chief Pierre pie is an excellent alternative. Most companies produce a strawberry rhubarb but I don’t want that combination. The Chief Pierre pie bakes up well with a tasty filly and flaky crust. Well worth the purchase.

Rhubarb is my favorite Sara Lee Chef Pierre pie. If a local GFS store carries Rhubarb pie, it can be purchased for less than the price per unit (minimum 6) when ordering through Amazon. Some things you just can't put a price on though (lol)!

Excellent pies, lots of rhubarb and flaky crust. Just wish they weren't so expensive.

When the shipment arrived there was no dry ice all the pies were soggy and thawed.
