Decent product. I'm using it for removing air bubbles from castable ceramics and it works better than expected.Keep in mind that this is an orbital shaker rather than a vibrator or oscillating shaker but that helps keep the price down. The speed range is significant, so most people will have little difficulty finding a speed which works for them.The maximum personal table weight is a couple pounds which is decent for lab work but something to keep in mind when using it for other purposes.In addition to a rocker one-off switch, there is a timer which can either be used to set the run time in minutes or set to be always on.This orbital shaker comes with a non-slip mat for the tray which makes life much easier than if it weren't there. It also assists with cleanup if there is a spill.My only complaint is the low maximum weight for the table, but that's typically only a concern when you use it forward unintended purposes.Overall, a decent product at a good price.

I bought this for shaking bubbles out of resin pieces I make. It is a little noisy, but its what you pay for. It has a timer which is great, plus a dial for how fast it goes. It has already helped the quality of my pours go up!

As orbital stirring goes, this unit delivers just fine. nice platform with a silicone mat to help keep your vessels in place. From a soft timed go around to 3.5 orbits a second I have had no issues with this device making the rounds for me. Do be cautious of the vessels you are using, like with anything observation and proper lab safety protocol should be in place. I worked with inert items to verify how the fluid dynamics would function with the orbit loop, and vessels used as some wanted to creep a bit on the vessel walls thus not producing desired results. Not a function of the device, it worked as designed - just a reminder.

This shaker has been in use for a total of about a week of consecutive usage (I use it at room temperature as well as at 10C for immunohisto staining of tissue for research purposes). It is still working properly, albeit very loudly. That is the sole complaint on my behalf thus far.Pros: functions properly, nice variable speed control, the grippy pad on top is a nice touchCon: loud AF

I use the device for mold production with hydrostone in modelmaking, Not in a lab environment.It 's a little noisy but it performs very well and more than meets my needs. If you use it like I do invest in some wastepaper size garbage bags to protect the tray and surrounding area.

As advertised, but can’t be used without hearing protection. Unbelievably noisy.

Did not like the speed knob setting at zero. It continues to rotate until the timer shuts off or you manually turn the timer off or turn off the power to the unit. Apparently there is no ‘zero’ setting that actually stops the rotation. Other than that am happy with the unit for what I intend to use it for.

It definitely works as a swirled but there is no shaking about it
