I bought 2 as gifts
I bought 2 as gifts. One raves about it, the other doesn't mention it. What I know,Pros: This is a great way to make Bar-b-que ribs with fall off the bone meat. It dramatically shortens cooking time in everything when under pressure. Its very versatile. Complete meals in one go and one device. You can set it up to delay start so the meal is hot and ready on your return from an outing.Cons: In cramped kitchens, if it isn't the centerpiece of your cooking style it has a large countertop footprint.Use the cookbooks available to get past the learning curve.

Recipes are Excellent!
I bought this book a few months ago and have used it at least three times a week. Every recipe I have tried is so good. I always rate recipes right on the page; every one I have described as, "Excellent!", "Easy and Excellent", "Good!", etc. I love this recipe book. I don't care if there are very few pictures - the fewer the pictures, the more great recipes!

Useful way to learn the ninja
Good book. Some useful recipes but a lot that I probably won't try. Should have recipes for more simple meals

Cannot believe I lived so long without this!!!! Everything about this appliance is 5 star. Easy cooking easy cleanup simple storage and the best part is the food tastes AMAZING. I LOOOOOOOOVEEEEEE opening my foodie up and seeing all the grease that’s been extracted from my food....that’s less grease in my body. We have had pot roasts, lamb, wings, pork chops, pork steak, oh my gosh the list goes on forever. If you don’t have this, but this..... NOW. You will not be disappointed.

A very good, multi function cooking machine and great addition to any kitchen.
I’ve used it once to make mushroom risotto. This is a time consuming recipe at the best of times, but was much quicker to make and at the end of the recipe I had only one pot to wash. I used the “pressure cooker” as well as the sauté function for this recipe. The instructions were a bit complicated at first, but once I understood them, I was fine. I worried that the pressure “vent” was very wobbly, but obviously it should be like this, as everything went well and the recipe worked. I look forward to trying out the “air dry” function. So far, I am very pleased with this multi function machine.

Enjoying the book
So far so good. My husband was the first to try out a recipe from this book The Coq au Vin. We changed it up a tad, but used all the basics. It was outstanding. If the rest of the recipes in the book are as good as this one, it's a winner. There are not photos to go with each recipe if that is something you want in a cookbook. That didn't bother me much though. I am really loving the Ninja Foodi so far and look forward to creating more amazing meals for my family.

No picture format
Recipes were interesting though there were some ingredients that you could only buy in the USA. Most were adaptable to Australian products. No pictures which was a little odd as pictures often reassure the new cook that they are on the right track,

A. It disappointed
No pictures in book to see how yummy it could look. As well, there s not complete recipe, by the looks of it. How to make potatoes counts as a recipe. I guess I was looking more for complete meals and that is not the case
