I bought this to use while camping to prep a campfire and for work around the house. I think it will do well for that. It is also easy to sharpen as well.

Best price on the internet came razor sharp! And I absolutely love it wish there was better sheath options for it but over all what an amazing piece!

This is my third Esee knife and by far my favorite. It quickly replaced my Bradford Guardian as my EDC though it is significantly larger. I typically prefer a drop point skinning blade but so far this has gotten the job done. I haven’t put it on a stone yet so I can’t speak to that but would definitely recommend

Esee delivers another fine blade. VERY sharp, and grip feels good. the belly of the handle was a little funny at first. I returned it due to the sheath and it was not for the use I was looking for. (Ordered the Esee 5 instead) May buy the again and get a kydex sheath made.

Esee nailed it with this one. The 90° unfinished spine is fantastic. I wish they had a kydex sheath option, but the included leather sheath is good quality, and gets the job done. This is my favorite Esee. When I’m in the woods I have this and my Junglas.

Knife itself looks and feels great. Stitching on belt loop portion of sheath came undone after wearing for a weekend camping trip. I liked the knife enough to reorder it after returning for the sheath issue. Might use adhesive on stitches of new sheath.
