Braeburn2020 Thermostat, Universal 7, 5-2 Day or Non-Programmable, 1H/1C

We've used this thermostat for over 4 months now and it works just as it should. I did order a professional installation and I'm glad I did. The product performs flawlessly and consistently. The display is easy to read. Changing settings and programming are user friendly and easy to do. We use the 5-2 settings so the weekend days are a different program. This one was the perfect one for us!

The thermostat is advertised as 7 day, 5-2 day or not programmable, but when it arrived it is in fact only programmable on a 5-2 day schedule only. The product was also a return since it was not in its bubble wrap and batteries had been installed (and had run out, with the battery indictor flashing). I only realized that it only has the 5-2 day programming option after installing it and I can't be bothered to return it now, so I will go by adjusting it manually as needed. Hopefully that will be good enough.

My old Braeburn went out after 5 years and after a tech came out to my house and wanted to charge $250 to put on a new thermostat, I decided to buy this. Needless to say, it was a great decision! It was a different color from the old unit but I just wired it according to the directions and VOILA! Brand new thermostat running perfectly and it cost me only $50!

I was able to install and program this myself to replace our old thermostat. I am very happy with this purchase. I really like the programming and the backlight on it when needed. You can make it as complicated or easy as you want when programming. It is designed to save you money by changing the temps to what you need at different times of the day.

Works just fine. Our previous one (same brand and model) we had for 10 years. We had to replace it because some one got as little excited playing with a squirt bottle and go it wet and it shorted out.
