The media could not be loaded.  They work awesome!! I am quite impressed by several aspects that have improved from the previous (non-music operated) version.First:  Of course, the music mode. What is particularly impressive is that it adjusts the sensitivity very well for loud or soft music. The 5 different modes all look very nice in operation, but I prefer personally mode 1. Very nice actions to the sounds! Please see the video posted to see them as an ambient backlight for video.Second: I love the new LED strips!A)  The IP65 waterproofing looks like a good coating, and it appears like it will hold up under weather as well as occasional rain. Of course, if this is tested to IP65, it should by definition do well in wet environments.B) The adhesive is quite an improvement from the really thin version on the older strips, and looks like (cannot be certain) it is the 3M material. Really sticky and thicker base. I was expecting that in the thermal tests the thicker foam backing might be a problem for heating at full brightness. I'm pleased to say that the strips did not get unusually hot and the adhesive stayed put nicely. I have included some microscopic shots of both the newest adhesive foam versus the older thin-film adhesive.C) Speaking of brightness, these strips are much brighter than the previous ones, and the colors are much better saturated than before. The actual luminous intensity measured was 1,165 Lumens with all 10 Meters of LED strip involved. (measured with a Sekonic L-858D light meter, converted 340 FL at 3.426 Lumens per Foot Lambert).Third: the inclusion of mounting clips and a junction cable (for segmenting the strips) was a very nice touch. The overall quality of this kit is really impressive.Fourth: They have included a two connector cable from the controller to the strips to facilitate a "Y" configuration.Of course, you can always cut the strips, use the junction cable included to create a "U" configuration or using 10mm corner connectors or pigtails, you can create any shape you wish. You can see the "Y" configuration and all components in the included photo.Instructions are not included as a printed sheet, but a QR code will quickly take you to a graphic showing all connections. The modes of operation are not defined (and frankly, I'm not sure that they could be described, just experienced).Some functions on the remote are shared. For example, the right-most music mode button will step through the brightness levels. The color shift buttons offer different responses depending on whether you are in music mode, auto mode, or selected mode. Not an issue, since it is all about what you find visually pleasing.Final thoughts: These are a great value and offer what appears to be a very high-quality product. I will definitely be recommending these to my friends.

The packaging was impressive: the box, nicely decorated and the parts inside organized and safely packed.The two strips come with only one port to plug into the wall, so you must use them together and not separately. The connecting wire is way too long. There is a very obvious space between the two strips and the wires are very visible unless you are running a double line of lights. If you cut the LED strips the special white connector is not included so if I wanted to cut them I would have to buy the connector myself. The rubberized quarter round and stick on tape is very good.The controller works well for turning the music on and off and the other features. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the color shift because you have to go through all of the colors in a certain order and you can not go directly to a color you want.I like the music mode. It is really a fun feature. It can detect the music as well as your singing and/or other loud sounds. The sounds must be loud enough to be detected though. The music box hangs at the very end of the LED strip instead of near the plug so again this is very visible.Good sleeping colors are the less bright colors like navy blue. I love that there are multiple shades of each color.

The media could not be loaded.  These led lights are amazing. We bought two sets for our sons’ rooms. They were easy to stick up and connect. They dance to music or voice command and there are seemingly hundreds of fun color combinations. They are bright and vibrant. They light up the whole room and create a very cool vibe. They are bright enough you can see in the room, but not bright like an overhead light.All of their friends love them and they want them for their rooms too. This was their favorite Christmas gifts out of everything.They are wonderful quality and I would recommend them to anyone.
