I was surprised how light the unit was when it first arrived. I gave it to my 9yr old nephew for his birthday and when he's on the go he loves this thing. Getting a little time with the unit it literally is hundreds of NES games from back in the day in a little handheld. Maybe it's just my nostalgia but these old games, although extremely hard sometimes, feel like so much better of a fit for a pre-teen than trying to pick up and play. A dozen button PS4 or XB1 controller still feels overwhelming sometimes. You got a control pad and two buttons... enjoy! And that is exactly what he does. Some of the game text is in chinese but for these old games and a kid does anyone actually read the story anyway? They just hit buttons and play games for short bursts of enjoyment.

Nice little device, very reasonably priced. Brings back good memories of games from the 80s, yet it's fun for the whole family!

At first the controls seemed different, but I got the hang of them. I especially like the Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-man games, and they'll be a lot more games to try--might take me most of next year as I don't play games like I used to, but occasionally I like to. Used to be I played games for a few hours a day, but that was when I was younger, and had more time. Good portable system to play either at home or on the go

We buy so many of these handheld devices. Basically any of them on the market. We are foster parents and always buy these for our ever changing family as kids come into the household. This one is by far my favorite. It has the best game selection and the buttons work well. Very happy with this purchase!

Looks well made. Came with a manual, which I asked about and received mixed answers. Happy to say it did come with a nice manual. Gave it four stars only because it is a Christmas gift and don't know yet if it works. hahahaha Looks like it is well worth the money, as the reviews stated.

I bought this for my 8 yo daughter for her Xmas present and it was a huge success. She figured out how to play all the games without reading the instructions and she has been glued to it since until the batteries died. So happy that it has a charger. Not sure the life of it once charged.It has many games and she will not be bored with traveling. I am very happy with this purchase I hope it is of good quality and lasts long.

My son really enjoyed playing this device for the very short time it lasted. The screen started to glitch and blink and power off. We thought if we let the power die completely it might hard reset since we could not find a power down option on the handheld itself. Once we went to charge the handheld with the charging adapter the connection piece fell off inside the casing of the handheld and would not charge. It was completely nonfunctional and broken within the first two weeks with only light use! I would not recommend purchasing this product.

Froze up immediately. Got it as a present for my father who is recovering from a liver transplant and it won’t even work. I feel terrible for trusting this product.
