Thule ladder rack height
This is a nice ladder rack for its mobility. My only issue is that they don’t mention that there is a difference in height. The good thing is they slide right off the rail.I purchased the heavy duty model and they are 1.5” higher than the ones I replaced. This is a problem for going in a car wash.I went from a 82.75” aff with my old ones to a 84.5” aff with this new set. They need to be more specific with dimensions in the posting.

Best ladder rack ever.
This ladder rack is awesome. It's easy to install, easy to use and it looks great. The load dividers make it easier to strap on my ladder. I can slide the uprights off and sore them away when not needed in a few minutes.

Seems OK... You need base rails for another 4-500$
Seem well engineered, but you need base rails which was not clear til after I assembled, so thatpushes the cost to ~1200.00

Well made rack
As expected from Thule this rack is well made and easy to install. I've used it to haul large lumber boards, beach chairs, canopy, and other odds and ends.

So far so good
Installed in a hour and was using it that same day. You can add ratchet straps, tie downs and more load stops to the trac system. Good purchase

Great Racks with some limitations
Pros: Super strong, removeable, flexible configurations help with car carriers, kayaks, lumber, easy to store on a wall bracket when not using.Cons: Not a ton of accessories, Expensive accessories, over time the "sliding" aspect is a pain and it sticks badly, some of the allen screws have stripped over time. The baserails sometimes loosen up and have to be retightened.

Surprinsingly Strong - Easy to assemble - complicated for new GMC Trucks with CarbonFiber bed.
I used to have a big Leer Cab on the last two trucks with quite expensive ladder racks. Since I have to upgrade my vehicles often for my job, I always had to purchase a brand new cab, and they are getting costly nowadays.I considered this rack and decided to give it a shot. This is used daily for professional use in all terrain, so it's getting beat up. I transport ladders and mast only on it to give you my review based on this usage. I was worried because of all the negative reviews on the website on other racks, but this one seems a tad better than the one I've seen.My truck is a GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate 2022, FYI.CONS ( not really CONS - beware )- Installing the base rail on a Denali is a nightmare ( 2022 + ). The new GMC trucks have a carbon fibre box instead of a regular metal box. They provide no instructions for this. You must pierce through your bed and put metal plates on both sides before screwing the rail, and you might make a massive tear in your carbon fibre if you don't. You can look at the installation of the climbing pole on the left side of the bed to give you an idea... I also had to remove both tail lights to get enough clearance for my hands to attach everything.- With my truck, I could not make the base rail perfectly parallel from front to end. I ended up sliding the ladder rack in the base rail first, then adjusting the position on the truck and securing it. - This only changes a little, but it might make it harder to remove if I want to remove it for a weekend. Let us say this is of no concern to me, but if you have the same truck, know.- Getting a long ladder on this is tricky, especially if you are used to a real ladder rack. ( 32 feet + ) I couldn't find a crossbar, but they exist. You have to be careful not to scratch the side of your truck.- You need to get creative with your binders to attach a ladder. Order some extra Aero clips if you order this rack for ladders. They give you four within the box, which I recommend you use for a single ladder only.PROS:- It's lightweight, and there has been no difference in fuel consumption AT ALL since my installation.- No sound from the rack itself, regular ladder sound from my ladders. It's hushed.- It cuts the sound from the ladder by more than 70% compared to my previous rack by Prime.- It's solid. I'm surprised it holds on so hard to the truck; you try to move it, and the whole truck shakes.- It doesn't bend or seem to be unable to hold a few hundred pounds- Lots of fixtures if you have AERO clip ( 4 included in the pack )- It looks good on a truck. I was worried at first.- You can slide it off if you don't want to use it.- You can still use your tonneau cover on a GMC Sierra, leaving your box's content protected!
