Surprised by the quality and ruggedness of these cables. Bought them just to chunk in the truck for emergencies and being a lower cost cable, i was expecting a whole lot but it is well worth the money and then some. Highly recommend.

These are 8 gauge wire for jumping smaller batteries in my opinion. Lawn and garden equipment for example.

Arrived quickly
The cables arrived quickly and look nice. I needed these for a project that involved cutting off the clamps. The metal conductor is aluminum coated with copper which was not noted in the description. This makes a difference as aluminum cannot carry the same current as copper in the same sized conductor. Also, the diameter of the conductor measured out smaller than a similar 8 gauge copper conductor that I was connecting this to. I think they skimped a bit or the other part (a 12v trolling motor socket) the 8 gauge pigtail was oversized. I'd bet on the first case...
