Lionel End of The Line Express Electric O Gauge Model Train Set w/ Remote and Bluetooth Capability

This is hands down one of my family’s favorite sets. I am a scale collector, with over 30 Legacy engines and hundreds of pieces of rolling stock in my collection, but most of that isn’t fun for my kids. I bought this set, not knowing what I was getting in to…my daughter says it’s her favorite and it’s her “spooky engine”. It’s even one that my wife allows me to display on the mantle during Halloween since it “matches her decorations”.The set is typical of new Lionel LionChief. It sets up easily, has one simple power supply, and can be controlled via the included remote or by a Bluetooth app. Controls are simple, and can be used by anyone old enough to understand how to turn a dial. The sounds are clear, and volume is adjustable. The horn on the locomotive is a “werewolf howl” instead of a traditional horn, which I wish were adjustable. The bell is a standard bell. It has some “crew talk” functions, including some spooky exchanges by the engineer! It’s a lot of fun! In the picture I uploaded, there is an additional freight car my daughter and I made to make the train longer.Any Halloween and train lover would enjoy this item!

I love the sound effects on this train and the bright orange tracks. I did have multiple issues with the engine coupling. And as much as I love Lionel their tracks don’t snap together easily. Now, the bad... the remote doesn’t work properly. Forward is actually reverse and reverse is forward?? Out of my 6 Lionel trains this is the only with this issue. I will be contacting product support to see if they can help me before I consider getting a replacement.

The train is complete in the box but for the best experience you need to download the Lionel Chief app to your phone. All the features are at your finger tips with the app. With the app you can regulate the speed and sound controls to keep mom happy when the little engineers are at the throttle.

Great train grandson loves it. The sound is very cool. Perfect for halloween display.

Very cute product for people with Halloween villages. Problem with this set is you have to unplug it to stop it from making noise. Has a continuous sound of an engine which makes it a very noisy unit to operate. Would love to have the option to turn off all the effects. Not necessary to have all the noise. Less sometimes is better! Engine quality is poor as I had to replace unit after only a month of use.

This train works well for my 7 year old son. I have bought other trains and they broke within the first day. My son loves the Halloween theme. I would recommend this train for those with small children.

What a deal! Do I need to describe? Spooky theme the kids love! Great for gift, decor, or just for hauling the spirits of a fun hobby toy!

The price was great and the product is wonderful.
