Durable and makes showering safe for disabled persons
Very nice transfer tub bench. I am using it to help my husband who has broken bones in his foot, has a temporary cast and can’t put weight on his foot. I cover his foot with a cast cover and he sits on this bench to shower. I dry it the bench with a microfiber cloth after showering complete to hasten drying time and store it it the garden tub when not in use. It has not discolored or mildewed at all. Very good quality and it’s sturdy. My husband is 5’11 and weighs 185 lbs.

Exactly what we needed.
I have purchased this Aquasense Adjustable Bath and Shower Transfer Bench with Reversible Backrestfor my Mother in Law as she had a recent fall and is now in need of knee replacement. So she is wheel chair bound until surgery at the end of this summer. We needed something that she could put OVER the tub so she could sit and turn and get into the tub and still be sitting. This worked PERFECTLY. It was stable and I felt completely confident in the chair that it would keep her safe and it did the job. I was a bit torn about it at first because we have never had to use anything like this in the past, but I feel it is most definitely our future. I loved the way we were able to make it the height we needed. We love it and recommend this chair for anyone in need of a chair. I am giving this product a 5 Star.* 1 star (Nope, DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL!): I would either return or throw away this product. It was a waste of my money and not functional. I will never order again.** 2 star (Think twice before buying - don't like it): I'm not a fan of this item and I won't order it again, but it has at least one positive quality.*** 3 star (It’s ok): This item has both positive and negative qualities. It may work for some people, but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase or recommend it.**** 4 star (I like it): This item arrived and functions as advertised. I would change a few things about this (including pricing), but is a good product overall. I would use this item.***** 5 star (I love it!): This item is AWESOME. I will use it and recommend it to others! I just LOVE it! It works as advertised and is an all-around great product. All of my reviews are written with the hope of helping other Amazon customers make the right buying decisions for themselves. To help increase awareness of a particular product it might be positive or negative, but in the end it is honest. Thank you for reading my review. I hope it has helped you. I will be happy to answer any questions if that might help you make your decision. Have a great day.

So worth the money
I recently had hip surgery and cannot put weight on it for 3-4 weeks. I shower every and without this I don’t think I come have. I feel confident sitting on it because it is sturdy. If you are on the fence about spending money on this it’s well worth it. Really I would have paid more.

The company does not support product
We needed a transfer chair due to a surgery. The product showed up to our house missing a part that would keep the leg in place. This would make a safe shower more challenging. The product with all its parts shipped to you. If you have upcoming surgery I would buy locally since a local supplier is more invested in its clients safety. The design is good. It just needs all the appropriate parts.

Well worth its price. Solid build inspires confidence in its use.
While I don't actually "love" it, I can't find anything much wrong with it. I read many reviews before spending the extra bucks for this one. It is worth it. Manufacturing quality is excellent. Everything fits perfectly. Leg adjustment holes are zig zag to retain strength while adding adjustability. Seats are locked into place solidly, unlike some others about which I have read.SIZE/STABILITY: This is NOT a small puny seat. As pictured on its box, it will fit over a fairly high Jacuzzi tub. In fact, I wanted to lower it more than it will allow. I decided that this is not a bad thing, as it is easier to sit down and get up from the higher seat.ASSEMBLY: Not too many pieces to lose. Very large pictorial instruction sheet. This could use a few more instructions about the leg adjustment pins, but not a big problem. All pieces fit exactly and solidly. The tubes for the backrest have an added plastic tip to keep them from loosening up.ADJUSTMENT: Each bathtub is different in size and angles. Ours is rather shallow, sloping toward the drain, of course. I needed to extend the inner leg closest to the drain, and both outer legs, in order to level the seat. After that, It is VERY stable and confidence-inspiring.

I am thankful for devises like this!
An Occupational Therapist recommended that I get a transfer bench after having Knee surgery.Pros:. Fits in my large size garden tub/shower. The side of my tub is 18" high. This bench could go a few inches higher.. The legs are straight up and down - decreases the chance of tripping.. Easy to set up, everything snaps in place.. The legs are easy to adjust, no tools required as they lock in.. The back rest and the hand rail also slide in and click when locked in.. Larger sitting area compared to a just small bench or chair sitting in the tub.. Sturdy, comfortable, dries quickly.. So much easier (and safer) than having to step over the sides of the tub.. The part of the bench that protrudes a little outside the tub is perfect for sitting on while undressing or drying off.Cons:. There is no place to set the shower head, an easy to reach built-in holder for the shower head should be added Instead of spending another $20 or so for a specially made shower curtain, I just cut a vertical slit on the bottom a shower curtain liner that I bought for a dollar. After closing the liner, I tucked a part under my leg to hold it in place. I cut it a little too high, but luckily no water on the floor and it saved me some money.
