Some kind of growth in can on the sides even one on top of the ghee I taste Ed it and it was fine thought maybe just discoloration but a closer look it's a mold or fungus no date on product to be found.updated company promptly sent another can with a date and no problems taste good more fatty and less buttery than cows ghee that i tried but not bad will use mainly to cook with its ok in coffee

It works just fine. I just don't like the "Ox" smell that accompanies it. That's just me.

It's difficult for us to find buffalo ghee in USA for my baby who is 16months old,we looked for andhra ghee but we found this one in Amazon.Its same like home made ghee,very pure n fresh.Thanks to himalaya n Amazon.

i am essentially vegan, but appreciated the nutritional value of pure ghee. i want Desi or Indian ghee, not US Organic, because of ethical reasons. also like to order in large quantity to save cost. am happy with my choice.

Excellent quality desi ghee.....Danedar, white and aroma is fabulous. Great for making parathas, halwa and other indian delicacies. Reminds me of buffalo ghee back home in India.... Strongly recommend.

Exactly how I hoped it would be! I grew up in a typical jaat family, and take enormous pride in our food culture which is heavily based around water buffalo milk. So get ready for more bulk orders from me. :-)

Taste and texture of candle wax. Threw it away. Aldi carries really good ghee, about the same price per oz.
