Joyfay Aquaponic Fish Tank- Fish Tank, 3.2 Gallon, Hydroponic Cleaning Tank, Fish Feeds The Plants and The Plants Clean The Tank

I bought a pair of these for Christmas for my kids. They came complete with everything they need, they look great, and appear to be well made. It was a fun project picking out some decor, a fish, and the plants. Its been a couple weeks now and everything is still working great.

So far so good! I have had this since sometime in June and have only changed the water twice. I do have a snail in there to help with the physical waste build up, however. A couple of thinhs to mote. The filter is super loud if you open it all the way but I contacted the seller (they got back to me super fast) who said to only open it half way and that has worked out well. Rinse the pebbles before you add them or you will have a dusty mess in your water. Get a pipe cleaner to help clean the tube part of the filter or else you can't get in there. I give my fish " breaks" during the day and turn it off at night-- the current can just be a little much for them to have it running all the time. Speaking of giving your fish some "shelter" like the floating log in my tank also gives them some reprieve. My fish hangs in there a lot. Last thing, there are minimal to no instructions and they are in Japanese. It's not hard to figure out though by looking at the pictures on Amazon. For the most part it's pretty low maintenance and the fresh wheat grass has been great! I'm going to try herbs this winter.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter and loved the simple modern design. And according to betta fish experts, 3 gallon tanks are pretty ideal for bettas. However, we have had this tank for a few months now, and have noticed when I siphon out half the water to replace with clean water, only 1 gallon of clean water fits back in. So how is it I take out over half the water, but only 1 gallon fills it up? Appears to be only a 2 gallon tank after all the pieces are in (substrate, top w/plant, heater, etc). Just beware it’s not as big as advertised.Btw, water is yellowing due to Indian Almond Leaf we added. It’s supposed to balance pH and make water environment more comfortable for bettas.

The fish tank comes with everything you need except the fish and plants and it is very nice looking. The only thing I don't like is the sound of rushing water. I'm trying to find out a way to turn down the pressure of the pump.

I love it. Here’s what I’m doing .. when the water gets cloudy I will put it on and turn it on for a while . Then when the water is clear I take it off so my fish can have some sun and peace . Having a lot of fun ✅

Rocks were opened upon arrival, messy from the start. Plants not included as with other kits in this price range like Back to the Roots that includes seeds and food for same cost. Directions very faded & photos barely visible, causing difficulty to view properly in assembling filter. Lastly, directions call for filter to be completely disassembled, cleaned and reassembled. That is not an easy-to-use kit for my 9yo. It is not worth it. Spend $10 more on the Back to the Roots kit that includes everything & excludes all this sloppy mess. So disappointing.

It is great! Easy set up. Betta bob loves his new house. Filtration system works well, haven’t planted yet but all is working perfectly. Easy instruction. Really could not be happier.

Love it, water stays clean. Pump is a little loud but not a problem.

This product arrived with a huge crack in plastic, so was unusable. It also had a Chinese plug so you needed a whole other plug. The pet store also said that using aquaponic tanks will usually KILL the fish. You also can’t even fit a filter in the water. Seriously don’t buy this or any other joyfay products.
