Natural Soy 464 Wax: 5 pound bag by Golden Foods

This wax is very easy to use and makes for a good wax when wanting to do dessert candles or making candles period. I will order again.

I am new to candle making and I tried a lot of different soy waxes before I found this brand. I use it with coconut wax (20 percent) and it gives a good hot throw. From all my readings it is difficult to get a hot throw with just soy wax, it is best if you mix it with another natural waxes. The fragrances that you use also make a big difference as to whether or not you will have a good hot throw. Candle Science, Natures Garden, and Pure Essentials, to name some brands that I have used-I am sure there are many others-have good fragrance oils and you get a good hot throw.

This is a great wax if you're making wax melts for yourself. This wax blended great with paraffin wax and my wax melts turned out super strong. I recommend this if you're wanting a wax to practice with or if you're making melts for yourself. It's very forgiving and easy to work with. The only "issue" is that you'll most likely get unsightly frosting (which is merely a cosmetic blemish).

It was good but I found granulated wax works better at refilling wax candle holders. These pieces are too big and leaves lots of pockets of air

Ordered this for my daughter to make her custom scented candles. She likes it. Melts easily, scent mixes in well.

The weight was light. This was not a 5lb bag. That is my only complaint.

I love this soy wax. It burns beautiful and for so long! I upcycle bottles into candles and this wax has never let me know.
