I love having this with me when I go to gym or to the store...... But let me tell you..... That pin comes out so easily with very little effort. I had it in my purse and was at work...... Started digging around in my purse looking for something and accidentally pulled that damn scrap......... Scared the crap out of folks....... It's extremely loud and being inside a building like that, it is even louder. Corporate America will never be the same after that day.

I purchased this 3 pack of personal alarms for myself & my mother. She recently had her home burglarized and hasn’t felt safe since. So I ordered these to help her feel a little more secure, especially when leaving work at night when it’s dark and walking out to her vehicle. They all work perfectly! I ordered them at 11:45am and they were delivered the same day at 6:30pm!! It doesn’t get better than that for speedy delivery!! They are super loud, comparable to standing right under a fire alarm. Amazing! I’m really happy I went with this after researching and reading a lot of reviews. You can’t put a price on having a sense of security. I 100% Recommend.

I must say the alarm is exceptionally loud. I made a mistake and hung keys on the alarm pull! Stupid me. When I pulled my keys out of my purse the pin caught and the alarm began. It was so loud I couldn't even think. I had to calm down and replace the pin as I was going out of my mind. I even thought of running. I replaced the pin and decided not to even put it on my key chain. I like to use it when I go walking.

I just assumed by the picture that to activate the alarm you would push the large "button" on top. Not sure what that's for, but you have to pull out a plug on the side for the alarm to sound. So basically you need two hands to use this. If you could carry it and push a button with just one hand it would be much easier to use if you were surprised by someone coming up to you. If I was purchasing again, I wouldn't buy these but would look for one where you could carry and activate with one hand.

You pull the lever and wow, the scream is terrific and will scare away all the bad hombres. Every college female should have one. Reasonable, and highly endorsed by police. The noise is like when a car screams when someone is lurking about. You can hear it for miles! In the SF area, the elderly are being mugged. Everyone should have one. Good Xmas gift to college kids and grannies.

These brilliant little fobs are Great! Not only do they make me feel Safe while walking my dog at night because of the alarm feature (In Oct. there was a guy randomly shooting men in my community!) the flashlight Really helped me out when I was on a 14 hour tour in Iceland!...why this tour company chose to make our last stop at a humongous waterfall, so one could not see the waterfall (you could for sure hear it) and it was Pitch dark! The flashlight enabled me to shine it's light in front of me so that I could walk closer to the waterfall safely and actually see a good portion of the water gushing down to the ground!!! I have one of these fobs on both of my key chains and my back pack. I gave one to a friend to use while she walks her dog alone at night along the Chicago city streets. I Highly Recommend this multi pack item/s!!!! Thank you!!!Two of these great light/alarms have been Lost this week, the chain must have come off! So disappointed. I'm sorry!

LOUD! If this doesn’t scare away a predator, nothing will. I bought these for myself because I travel for work and I also gave some to my granddaughters. Please don’t use it around your animals unless it’s an emergency. It will really hurt their ears. I took mine in another room with the door closed to test it and my dogs still cried.

OMG I GOT THIS IN I BOUGHT 3 ONE FOR MY 2 GIRL AN SELF AN WHEN I PULLED THE PIN OUT THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO KILL MY HEARING AN MY POOR DOG .WORTH EVERY PENNY .
