Fiebings Leather Dye 4oz / 118ml (Oxblood Red)

Good product

I USED AN OLD FACE FLANNEL AND ACETONE ( NAIL POLISH REMOVER ) TO PREPARE A PAIR OF LIGHT TAN-COLOURED BROGUES FOR A COLOUR CHANGE. WHEN THE LEATHER HAD DRIED, I CAREFULLY BRUSHED ON THE OXBLOOD RED DYE. THE SHOES " TOOK " THE DYE EVENLY AND THE COLOUR WAS EXACTLY WHAT I HAD IN MIND. I THEN APPLIED SEVERAL COATS OF OXBLOOD SHOE POLISH, BUFFING THE SHOES EACH TIME. THE RESULT WAS I NOW HAD AN EXTREMELY ATTRACTIVE PAIR OF OXBLOOD BROGUES AND SUFFICIENT DYE LEFT TO TREAT ANOTHER PAIR OF SHOES. THE FIEBINGS OXBLOOD DYE PRODUCED A SUPERB RESULT, WHICH I EXPECTED, HAVING USED THEIR DYE LAST YEAR TO CHANGE THE COLOUR OF A SUEDE JACKET WITH GREAT RESULTS. I CAN THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND FIEBINGS LEATHER DYE AND AM DELIGHTED WITH THE RESULTS !

I used this product on a desk leather inset that was already oxblood (though rather tired-looking) and to recolour a green Chesterfield desk chair. Both now look fantastic, and you really could not tell that the chair was once green.The trick to using this dye is to make sure you mop up any excess dye very shortly after you have applied it (i.e. apply it in small sections at a time, and mop up as you go). I used paper towels to do the mopping up, which worked very well.I would recommend applying Renapur leather balsam once the Fiebings dye has fully dried.

Very good performance from this product

Used to cover scuffs and marks to our chesterfield sofa. It was easy to use and covered well. Saved us a fortune getting a professional out to do the same job

I bought a chic pair of soft italian ankle boots in a second hand shop. Unfortunately, they were two-tone, burgundy and beige.The Fieblings burgundy dye was slightly paler than the deep red panels but the paler leather "drank" up each application of colour. The end result is almost perfect and yet my friends are all admiring them!

Very happy with this dye which I bought to do some restoration on a 30 year old Chesterfield chair. I had to do some blending which meant numerous applications. At first I thought it was going to be too red in colour but I could see from the bottle that it should end up dark, the results are shown in the pictures attached to my review.

This product along with the finishing coat was perfect for a repair to damage to my lazy boy couch. It is a fantastic dye covered the leather back to original colour . Wonderful can recommend for any type of damage . back to original condition Thank you.
