It works for sure!
The first night of preparing this trap i caught one. Nights after that i caught another although i wasnt sure if it was dead 😫. Turned out it was.The instructions were pretty vague when i first opended it. It never stated i needed to keep it plugged in so it can stay on. I spent time trying to charge the thing to full battery but there was no indication i had to do that either....Eventually i caught on and i keep it plugged in my kitchen.I use peanut butter mostly. It will definetly get results

Got a rat the first night! but batteries don't work. Had to use plug.
Only problem was I had to use the AC plug. One feature I really liked was the fact it works on batteries but after correctly installing brand new batteries the unit does not power on. It does with AC adapter though. I tried it and first night got a giant rat. But now I need to use it further from house and can't because no power supply out there. May return for a properly working one.

It worked!
I was having trouble catching what I thought to be a pack rat that was getting in under the kitchen sink, for a week I kept setting the large rat traps just to find them either with all of the peanut butter gone and not tripped or tripped and no rodent. I did not want to use d-CON because A, its pretty inhumane and B, I didn't want this thing dying in the wall or floor and stinking up the place. After doing a google search I saw the electronic option with mixed reviews and figured what the heck I'm willing to try anything at this point, I baited it with a piece of Ritz cracker with peanut butter on it the morning after it was delivered and had my Pack rat the very next morning. You can't argue with success! Under the kitchen sink I had a power source that I plugged it in to so I have not tried the battery operated option yet and did not want to chance failure because of a faulty battery function. This is a pretty important feature as outlets will not always be available so I will try it and update my review.

They don't work!!! They do not have any power with batteries or with a power cord!
I purchased these traps as spares, and needed them today. Not one of them worked!!!! I had power cords, that I had bought previously, (not from this seller, who didn't include the cords.) The units didn't even work with a power cord. That is over $100.00 on traps that didn't work. If I could give a minus star I would. I don't believe I have ever written a bad review, but this is just wrong, when all four of them didn't work, with batteries or with a cord.

When the light is green the mice are gone
First week caught two.. scared the hell out of my lady... When she heard the mouse getting fried.I don't understand the other reviews for this product. Perhaps they're not using it correctly. You have to have it near wall I have mine plugged in at all times I do not use a battery I also look for the routes on where they might walk along the wall.I never use any Rat food Mouse food or peanut butter for this trap.I suggest plugging the unit into an outlet . You'll definitely get better resultsBuying another one right nowGreat Product 👍

Buy a Victor instead
I bought this one because it was electric and would not have to worry about batteries going dead. My sister had given me a 5 year old Victor that kills mouse after mouse. This one the bait disappears but no dead mice. I am going to buy another victor. Being electric is not a bonus if it doesnt work

DOES NOT WORK
Really wish I could have returned this. It took a couple weeks to even get any type of interest from the mice in my attic and they just ended up gnawing through the back side of the trap where the company instructs you to place the bait. Waste of 20 dollars and too short of a return window for how long it took to see if the product would even work. Very disappointed. We liked the idea and wish it would have worked so we didnt have to use traditional traps.

Does not work.
I tried this device three times - each time the rodent was successful at removing the bait - while leaving uscathed. I wanted this to work, it simply does not.
