The 100 Best Stocks to Buy in 2019

Good resource for reviewing the fundamentals and risks of good company stocks. However, be advised that since the market moves so fast, some of the choices in the book are out of date by the time that the book hits the book stores. Good for long term investors, but not for short term traders. I have been buying this book for the last 5 years as a reference guide for insights in stock choices.

First of all, this book is packed with a lot of useful information and a good value for what you get. However it has the same drawback just like other investment newsletters or publications with stock picks for a certain time period: it is absolute by the time it is printed and available for a layperson to use as a guide. Secondly, the investment philosophy of each person is so individual and unique and one fits all approach is not applicable in this subject. Also this 400 page book can convey the same info in a more succinct way if it were less than 300 pages. Nevertheless, this book is packed with valuable information.

Great informative book.

This book is based on the ridiculous notion that the stock market has left billions of dollars on the table by pricing some stocks to yield higher returns than others. In reality, Wall Street isn't a charity, and you'd be a fool to follow the advice here and pick individual stocks. Take the free lunch diversification allows - own the whole market through a total market index fund at Vanguard.

Too detailed and dry to read. Wish it was more customer friendly.
