Creative Haven Cats Color by Number Coloring Book (Adult Coloring Books: Pets)

As a cat momma and a lover of coloring books, I've been wanting a legit color by number coloring book with just cats in it. I ordered this one months in advance and for $9.99, it didn't disappoint at all. I haven't had the chance to color in it yet but looking through the pictures, they're going to be very beautiful and detailed. Not to mention that having 46 different breeds of cats to color is going to be time consuming but FUN! I can't wait to start coloring this weekend and over the holidays as I will have 10 days off work!

Very pretty designs to color. I love all the different cats. There are a lot of details in most of the images so that may be a problem for some people. Also, the light numbers and lines could also pose a problem. I don't see it to be an issue though. The paper is pretty good, single sided, and perforated. I generally like Creative Haven paper and use water based markers without a problem. I also like the colored thumb nails inside the front and back covers. I don't really care for the order of colors. There are a few that are out of order, but I would not deduct a star for it. I do like how this artist/author use a bright color scheme for his designs.

Should have read all of the reviews before I purchased this. Still haven't been able to find a set of colored pencils with all of the right colors. No clue is given as to what to do with all of the "0" areas. Paper quality is off- not getting true colors for what I can dolor in. The key does not match the end result. I had purchased this color-by-number so I wouldn't have to make all of these color choices. This was suppose to be relaxing but has turned into something far more stressful that I was looking for.

This looks like a nice color by number book, but the problem with them is they don't give you any clue what colored pencil set to buy with it. There are so many pencil sets out there of different quantities and they don't even tell you if you need 25, 36, 72 or whatever number of pencils in the set. I bought a large set of 72, only to find out I need a set of 25. You have to open the book just to find that out. So, the pencil numbers / colors don't make any sense with the book.

I have been enjoying the relaxing activity of coloring by number. Stress free coloring without having to pick the colors. Ha HA. This book has nice designs and the paper is heavy and coated so nothing soaks through. I use fiber point pens so this is important. One design per page and easy to tear out with a color guide.

Gave this to my cat loving friend and she loved it. The numbers are small and might need a magnifying glass but once colored you can't see them like other color by number books.

I LOVE COLOR BY NUMBER! The numbers for me are easy to see the pictures are so nice of the cats and I love cats have three of my own so i will really enjoy coloring in this coloring book and you don't see to many men sitting down to color are drawing beautiful such pictures for us. Yes I love your coloring book and I will be looking out for more thank you much it will be enjoyed

My grandkids, in jr. & sr. high, love these books. The price is very reasonable, for so many pictures, too. When the weather is bad, and they have to stay in, it is great to have another inside activity that they really get into.

For this book, I'm very happy about it.For it so happens that as far as I like cats, I certainly liked the book. In any case, the book arrived on time, and this is still a good thing.

If you like cats like me your going to love these colouring book - the creative heaven series is certainly a must if you are like me and love to colour in.

Ich finde, George Toufexis ist ein großartiger Illustrator.Da ich gerne color by number Malbücher ausmale, zum kopflosen Anmalen und bloßen Entspannen, hat sich dieses hier zu meiner bereits existierenden Ansammlung hinzugesellt.Ich muss zugeben, ich habe mich etwas mit der Unterwasserelt von Toufexis herumgequält, weil die Malfelder zu winzig, die Zahlen schwer lesbar, das Papier zu wählerisch ist. Es war also keine Liebe auf den ersten Blick.Die Katzen kriegen jetzt noch mal eine Chance, weil es so viele verschiede Katzen sind (mit Angabe der Rasse), weil die Hintergründe einfacher gestaltet sind, und auch weil Katzen in Malbüchern immer wieder auftauchen.George Toufexis ist eine Quelle der Inspiration. Seine Farben sind großartig, die Auswahl an Siften ist überschaubar und begrenzt, die Darstellungen sind realistisch.Ein dickes Malbuch! mit 46 verschiedenen Katzen, Illustrationen eines Experten.Die Seiten sind perforiert und leicht herauszutrennen, falls gewünscht.Mein bevorzugtes Medium sind Buntstifte.Mit dem Dover-Creative Haven-Papier tue ich mich manchmal etwas schwer. Es ist kein Zeichenpapier (beginnt für mich bei 120g). Am besten fand ich bis jetzt Caran D'ache Supracolor auf dem Papier. Ich weiß nicht so genau, woran es liegt, ich denke, relativ glattes Papier braucht stark pigmentierte, weiche Stifte, sonst wird alles zu pastellig und streifig. Also... probiere ich mal weiter.

das ist das beste malbuch, das ich habe. wunderschöne motive, nicht zuviele farben und vor allem: die konturen sind nicht dick und schwarz wie bei anderen malbüchern, sondern hellgrau und daher gut zu übermalen.einzig die papierqualität könnte etwas besser sein, aber das ist auch der einzige kritikpunkt.
