We tried so many other tomato supports in the past. The cages worked until they got to a certain point then they were pretty much useless. These ladders are well worth the investment. Now as the plant grows we just put an extension on. So easy and very sturdy as well as very tidy looking too. This year we didn't have to cut off the tops and just let them grow up and boy they were beautiful, tall and healthy. Lots of deliscious tomatoes we were able to share with friends, neighbors and family.

I was skeptical at first because the opening is smaller than I expected - but I now love them and purchased even more! The tomato stem fits nicely along the center support and the branch support is close to the stem. So far, this is an advantage because the weight of the tomatoes are not breaking or bending the stems. The stacking feature is AWESOME - I was even able to use these ladders to replace a support on a tomato that had already outgrown a more traditional round support - I was able to instantly add the second layer to support the tomato. I would recommend to a friend

This is my first season using these, and my tomatoes have not yet reached their full height. But the supports seem very sturdy, and will be easy to store.

I am already on my tomatoe ladder extension and might have to order another set to make my existing ladders taller. I have found that "training" my tomatos by using the elastic, green plastic tape tends to bunch up the upper leaves. We do get storong winds here and I an hopeful that none of my plants will topple over.

Good product. Doesn't provide enoughplastic end covers for different configuration though. So I used in a confirmation different than suggested, and the exposed ends of those tubes are already rusting

The height of a single piece was not as tall as I thought. I liked that they were expandable but it took 3 pieces just to get to the height of the other holders I already had which seemed like a waste to me. One set of 6 was enough for one and a half of my tomato plants. Lesson learned I will just buy more of the others ones I had and just no be able to extend them.

Really keep the plants tight and you save a lot of room but expect very tall plants.

Easy to put together, a better design and sturdier than traditional tomato cages, and fantastic customer service. A little pricey but will last for years to come.
