Might not work for you if you've previously dyed your hair red/copper...
I usually use box dye to dye my hair a copper-red and I wanted to give this a shot, as I know it's overall less damaging. The instructions on the package were very clear and I mixed mine with 16 oz of chamomile tea for each jar. My hair is rather long so I had to use two jars. My hair before I used this was a very faded rusty copper color, with my dark roots coming in. The texture was that muddy pudding kind, somewhat thick, and it smelled like earth and tea. I thought it was nice. I left it on for about 2 1/2 hours before rinsing, which took a very long time. When it dried I realized...... it turned my hair a medium/light brown, which I'm still rather baffled over. I was told henna can be very unpredictable, but I thought it would tint my hair at least a little red. I'm giving it 3 stars as it did definitely change my hair color and made my hair feel softer and a bit thicker. I guess henna dye might not be right for me (my hair is 2c/3a curly so this may have been a factor as well), so I'm not going to blame the product too much, as it has worked for other people. XD

New to henna but I chose this for the ingredients .
Was super easy to use . I have medium brown hair and wanted to cover my grays but didnโt want to chance the reds coming through . Iโm so happy I gave this a shot . I ended up with really pretty copper strands of highlights throughout . Itโs not major but in the light you see it . It didnโt give 100 coverage on the grays but I feel next application it may . I plan to just do certain areas for coverage . My hair feels very healthy and thatโs a super bonus . I have epilepsy so avoiding harsh chemicals is important . I will never go back to hair dye .

A great, bright copper color with a nice sift.
I like the sift of the Rainbow Research Hennas-they're consistently fine. I blend this with a light red to get an Irish red that matches my natural shade. Color blooms easily overnight, fully rinses out easily as well, due to the fine sift. My mix uses lemon or lime juice with a couple essential oils & I leave it on under a plastic shower cap for an hour before rinsing. My white hairs become golden & copper highlights & it lasts for 4-6 mo before I start to notice white hairs again. Leaves my hair silkier, also.

Beautiful Color Every Time (even colors gray hair)!
I love Rainbow Henna, my favorite colors for covering the gray hairs I have is the Copper and the Strawberry Blonde. Applying henna is easy but can be messy for first timers - I usually put down a plastic tarp on the floor and cover the sink area with a towel and get to work! There are tons of tutorials out there to help with applying henna to your hair but the instructions that come with the Rainbow Henna are clear and concise so if you follow the directions you'll end up with gorgeous color and shine.

Not much on color but moisture was great
Followed instructions on label. Did color my hair they way I thought it would. It just covered the grey. But it made my hair super soft. I need that because I wear hats a lot and the extra moisture hepled.

Beautiful color
I have been using a different brand for about 15 years, but wanted a more coppery color. This dye is my new go to. Love it.

With Henna you can be creative and stay natural and v. chemical dyes
Have used for a fair while, fine henna. I tend to mix colors - medium brown, copper, maybe some mahogany-for reddish brown (Auburn brown) - covering grey but staying true to my natural color.
