4 Pair RJ45 Ethernet Combiner, Cat5 PoE Splitter, 2-in-1 (2 Cameras Over 1 Cable) Adapter for 8 IP Security Camera NVR Surveillance System

Working great so far with my 48vdc POE router and cameras.

It works great as long as you follow the instructions. You need to use both sides of the splitter. One goes to the NVR and other at the camera.

I am upgrading our camera system at our place of worship. My biggest problem was having to pull additional cables. We don’t have nearly enough cameras. This is a fantastic solution. I can double our cameras with the cables we have. So much easier and cheaper.

When wiring I didn't think of ever installing 2 POE camera devices outside. This is a perfect solution to only 1 wire. (note to self, and others ALWAYS RUN EXTRA CABLES ) when running wires

Worked for about three months, then had multiple adapters fail around the same time.

Wasn't sure if these would work as I had one POE+ cam but I hooked that one to the higher poe injector and the other cam to the regular poe injector and they both worked great - outdoors too. You have to be using a gigabit line run as the splitter turns the single gigabit line into two 10/100 lines. Super easy was to add more IP cameras with ease. Highly recommend them. Holding up well outside under a sheltered porch but exposed to the outside pacific northwest air and humidity for quite a few months so far.

Does not work with NVR systems as it states. False advertising. I wasted a lot of money buying this as it stated it is compatible with ALL POE network security surveillance camera/NVR systems. I plugged into my NVR and they dont work!!!!!

As a network tech, I can say that I can report that this is the first RJ45 splitter that I came across that actually works and works with POE.My test included 2 POE cameras, and POE switch. Was able to get them all connected and working across one cable run.Would be good if you offered some kind of special on these like 8 pack and 12 pack.Thank you.
