George Washington Golden Seasoning and Broth, 1-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 24)

Again, I have been using this for 40+ years and use in chicken soup whenever I make it and for all chicken dishes. Mix with a cup of water and one packet of G Washington - yum!!!! You will love both G Washington flavors and never buy broth in a can again!!!!

I have been using these since I was a kid, they’re delicious and make any meal even better! I have some friends who are vegan and I introduced them to this seasoning since it is vegan! They all LOVE it and think I make the best food!!

I was so happy to find these on Amazon. My grandmother used to use these as seasoning and I especially loved when she fried up a batch of mushrooms using this for seasoning.

This product adds great flavor to ROAST chicken and other dishes. However, for those sensitive to it, the second ingredient is MSG.

This is the best chicken like seasoning ever!!! I use it for everything that calls for broth or stock!! I make soups, gravies & broths of all kinds! This is the only thing I use for gravy! Chicken, turkey or beef! I just add kitchen bouquet for the color & flavor for brown gravy.... And.... I'm not even vegetarian... It's just so good and so easy. I keep a case in my pantry always!! It's 1 packet to 1 cup of water... For anything and then add your seasonings! Makes a great white gravy too! Soups & stew!! Mmmmm! Love it! Can't say enough! Best chicken noodle soup ever!!! And I'm always asked to make the mashed potatoes & gravy at any family get togethers!

I grew up with this stuff and my mother, an awesome cook, used it in most everything. It used to come in 4 flavors---beef, chicken, onion and vegetables, but now I only see two, the beef and chicken. That said, my mom used them all interchangeably and I'm just happy to find these. I used to buy GW in any supermarket in NJ but about 16 years ago, it disappeared off of the shelves, nor could I find it on the 'Net. I was thrilled to recently find it on Amazon, though a full case is going to last me a very long time, considering there are 8 envelopes per box times 24 is 192 individual packets.

As always, my family and I love the flavor that G Washington Seasoning and Broth gives to soups and just about everything else. I wouldn't use anything else. It is different from regular bouillon in the sense that it doesn't make food salty. It just gives food a lot of flavor without the salt. I don't know why it isn't sold in any stores anymore. I've looked in Pittsburgh, Philly and Charlotte and no stores carry the broth. It is sometimes hard to justify 24 boxes but I always do. I always use them up before they expire so I guess I should just keep ordering them online especially since they offer free shipping.
