Schweppes 1783 Cucumber Tonic Water 200ml x 12

I was introduced to this mid July. It goes well with a slice of cucumber and 50ml of Tanquery or Hendricks. Don’t use an over flavoured gin. Many of the “modern” gins are so over flavoured they ruin a G&T. However, so far three bottles from my order have been flat. No fizz or sparkle and the resulting drink is not nice. It went down the sink, with the gin in it sadly! I cannot criticise the supplier for this. The fault must emanate from the manufacturer and the bottling plant.This tonic and the 1783 Salty Lemon one are very nice (when they have their fizz!). In the past I would avoid Schweppes tonic for it is too sweet and spoils a decent gin but the 1783 range is much much superior. Two ice cubes, 50ml Tanquery and a bottle of 1783. You’ll be happy!Since posting this it is is now 4 bottles that have been flat resulting in wasted gin.

Schweppes Cucumber Tonic? What for? Washing my frillies, of course. No, I had the wonderful idea of mixing it with some very nice gin, and the two products fell in love with each other in a flash. It's a very subtle tonic, nice by itself but in combination...Magnifique! I will return for more. (But how did Coco Cola get in here?)
