EZee Glider Kid's Balance Bike (12-Inch)

We ordered the orange bike. It is no longer shipping with air tires, which was the primary reason for our purchase. We will be returning this, as it was not clearly stated prior to our transaction that the bike is now made with EVA.

This is not about the bike itself, rather the order and its fulfillment. We ordered the Orange bike, but received a Black one instead; the box was plainly labeled "Black" on the outside. This was for a birthday present, and now we do not have time for an exchange/replacement. Not happy!

First off the bike came super quick and looks totally cool for a little man. I chose this one because it had features I liked (brakes, foot pegs and air tires). It was easy to put together. My only complaint is that the pad across the handle bars is not the one pictured and its actually a piece of vinyl fabric. It will provide no protection from anything that comes in contact with it. Also the Velcro that holds it together was ripped. I will be calling the company to see what they can do.

My older children have used the Mini-Glider and the Go-Glider with great success. The Quality is excellent and both kids loved their Gliders (blue & pink) even after they mastered a traditional bike. I gave the ez glider as a gift because it had all of the great features of the Mini Glider, hand brakes, foot pegs, mountain bike geometry plus air tires instead of foam tires on the mini The ez glider is a little heavier than the mini-glider but it is also cost less. More importantly though the birthday boy wanted orange, so I went with it. He loves it (age 3). The pegs posed no problem, (they are removeabale) we took Glidebikes recommendation and left them in. He started with 2 feet on the ground, and quickly graduated to 1 foot on a peg, and then he was gliding resting both feet on the pegs. He is already using the handbrake and I think his mother is grateful for the brakes because he is fast! The EZ Glider delivered what it promissed.

As a Pre-K teacher, i LOVE to see something that helps kids learn and builds confidence! If it also gives them exercise, and fun to boot? I'm IN!Every child needs to learn how to ride a bike at some point of his or her life. It is just a part of childhood! We all remember when it was our turn, the excitement, the fear, the crashes, the boo-boos, the joy once we finally figured it out! It is one of those "moments", a coming of age. And something we will always remember doing. I don't know what it is about our first bike- but it's a magic thing, and it will always stay with you.Teaching our kids to ride a bike can be a little different, because of the Glide Bike.Children will learn to balance on the bike, without having to rely on the training wheels, or third wheel of a bike. After all, balance is key for riding a two-wheeler, or "big kid" bike, isn't it? Once your child has that mastered- it will be nothing at all to switch to a pedaled bike and ride like the wind!

LOVE LOVE LOVE balance bikes!! You never have to teach your kid to ride a bike again. It is really hard for me to come up with any cons.... other than they cost 3x as much as a regular little bike and B can really go fast (which I never see on a training wheel bike). There are soooo many pros.... you never have to run behind them, they have confidence so early, they are as fast as their feet will take them, they are adjustable, they can easily transition to a pedal bike, they can start at any age (my nephew was riding his fast at 2). We choose Ezee Gliders because it has a brake which is a unique feature that we like.

I got this bike for my son a few years ago, he loved it and learned to ride a bike in no time.(he was 2 1/2 at the time)After riding his glider for a few weeks he just picked up his friend's 2 wheeled bike and rode. I couldn't believe it, no falls, he was totally confident and balanced!! The designer thought of everything, adjustable seat, hand brakes, and foot pegs. The other similiar learning bikes out there do not have these features. This bike is light and durable and we actually passed it down to atleast 3 more kids who have also learned to ride....the only problem is my son wants his bike back...he loves to play on it even now after he's mastered his mountain bike..the bike is fun and easy to take anywhere and it gave him the confidence to feel comfortable and balanced riding any bike. I highly recommend this bike to anyone looking.

Our kids learned on the Mini Glider but we selected the EZee Glider for a gift because it had the same great features as the Mini Glider, such as a handbrake and removable foot pegs, but came with air tires and a really cool looking metallic black paint job. Well....this bike lives up to the same great quality and design standards as the Mini Glider and looks so much better made than the other brands out there. Glide Bikes definitely builds the "Cadillac" of balance bikes.
