Was able to rake lots of heavy dirt with this. Seems quite sturdy. Not overly lightweight but surely tough and strong. Happy with my purchase.

I bought this along with a few other tools to replace my cheap tools that broke after one season! These are made to last! This particular tool is heavier than my other rake - the teeth are solid and forged! - but you will be raking with this for years to come! The teeth are strong enough to rake through rocks/pebbles and I have already used it for leaves, raking winter covers and other debris from my flower beds. I also used it to help prepare my rows in the garden. Great Rake!

High quality and rugged. Nice weight; punches right into the soil. Handle is very comfortable to use; long handle saves some backaches due to less bending and reaching. Absolutely worth the extra money to get this high quality. I bought 3 Truper fiberglass handle tools and they are all outstanding gardening tools.

I may return this, I haven't decided yet. This rake was supposed to be "forged". While it looks like it was forged(which means stamped out of a single piece of steel by a machine), it also has a weld on one corner where it looks like it broke in the machining process. On a forged item(and I know this, because I'm a licensed aircraft mechanic), the entire object is one piece, without any material added by welding. The rake sent to us, has a weld bead in one corner, with a grinding mark, where material was removed by a grinding wheel, and that may actually weaken the rake. If it breaks during use, I'll return it. It says on the rake, that there's a "Lifetime Guarantee". I would not recommend anyone buy this rake, because a cheaper one that's welded might be a better choice. I bought this one, because it was forged, and turns out it isn't completely forged.

How do I submit a warranty claim? The attachment point with the rivet is definitely weak?

This is a great rake. I haven't had a chance to use it for dethatching the grass yet, but it has been perfect for levelling out mulch and soil. It's surprisingly lightweight for it's size, and feels very well built.
